  1. Came across this photo of my oldest 3. Luke in the middle "I hate having my photo taken, it gives me the s**ts!" Not a very good photo, it's a photo of a photo!

Doesn't have to be a wedding photo, it can just be a photo of you and your partner.

That's what I was thinking Liv - it's still stinky when I use it on the kids school books and it would be in a confined space in a travel cage?
  8. Very interesting read Kaz.
  9. I don't have any time savers as such but I write a list and check things off as I do them. I don't stress anymore about not having enough time to do things, I learnt that a long time ago from my Maternal Child Health Nurse. When my third child was just 3 weeks old the Maternal Child Health Nurse arrive to weigh my son and found me crying in the middle of my kitchen floor with a scrubing brush in hand and I was so upset because I couldn't get a mark of the floor. I had 3 children in nappies and was trying to be a 'Supermum'. She told me that the mark would still be on the floor tomorrow along with the cleaning, washing and cooking. Focus on your children being happy and everything will follow. My youngest is now 3 1/2 and goes to daycare 2 days a week. Mondays I clean all day and Thursday I shop, so there is still no me time but one day maybe

The ones in cages I cheat and just use an old vacumm and just place it near the top of the dish and it sucks just the husks up easily without wasting seed.
  11. Most of my chicks have had black beaks when young. I didn't know what it was when I seen the first one either
  12. As far as I am concerned 52 is just a number on a piece of paper that has no realtion to how old or young I feel. That is so true and some days you feel a lot older than others
  13. Ew... and what's even more gross is that birds have their vocal cords in their chest so they can keep squawking too. They always tell us to go nowhere near the legs of a newly killed large animal - horses especially. Their nerves can keep firing even if they are actually dead, so they can reflex kick and still kill you. Feeling morbid and... thoughtful... today - Groups D and C visited a prime lamb abattoir and witnessed the process from the moment the sheep were unloaded on the property, to when their bits were packaged and frozen (and everything in between). Very much an eye opener. I think that people should face what they are causing to happen instead of masking the brutality and sheer... number... of it. I know i'm behind on my updates, I will do Paraclinical 1 and 2 (weeks 3 and 4) together at the end of the week. Sounds like you had an eye opening day...yuk

Got a bit bored and started going through old posts and seen this one hadn't been updated for a while and there are lots of new people on the site now so I thought I start it off again with our wedding photo. We've been married for 17 years next February.
  24. okay, can you put that in with the Calcivet or not?
  25. Ken is busy lowering the hearses value :hap: We have some issues with keeping it running....electrical problem...battery is fine, alternator is fine, some extra electrical connections that are dodgy need sorting out and maybe the regulator is no good. Carbie is running wrong ( mixture is too rich ) and needs tuneup. Before tuneup we need to drain the oil and replace as some water may have got intop the sump due to the steam cleaners. They knocked the dipstick tube out while cleaning it. Also need to drain the fuel tank, fill it with metho and rinse and drain before refilling with fuel. Ken had to move the car to remove the bumper...car ran out of fuel. Z( I need the bumper to take for quotes on repair and rechroming ) ....Got fuel, hearse wouldnt start. Once started a few times, battery was dead as its not charging due to regulator or something else ? Need an auto electrician. Keep thinking beautiful thoughts and think of the end product, it'll all be worth it
