  1. Looks excellent! although one query, is there much wind protection for the birds in the flight? looks like it's open on all four sides and could be quite windy?
  2. hehe aww they're soo cute!!!!
  3. if the nail is totally gone it will not grow back, however if it's just broken off and is short it will. The inflamed/large nostril we could not be sure about unless we knew what was causing it, e.g. scaley face or something else?
  4. Nice pictures! How many girl friends does master have ? Be careful even with female siamese fighters, they totally destroyed my boy bruce's fins

  9. Are we talking sugar glider as in possum looking thing with skin between it's legs? I wasn't aware they were able to be sold like general animals?
  10. agree entirely with Kaz...Just try to make him as comfortable as possible until you're able to get to an avian vet, but one is definatly essential. Also make sure he's eating well and able to get to food and water even though he's not able to move to well.
  11. Clear contact on the outside of the bars hahah! make them stick to it... Who knows, no matter what I do I always have the mess from inside birds, luckily mine are on slate though
  12. HAHA... how longs a while ? Is he a tame boy?
  13. Agree there.... his left leg seems to sit out a bit far, although I wasn't thinking rickets, more along the lines of un-corrected splay legs? I also like Chandler
  14. Greys can have blue cheek patches but blues can't have grey cheek patches... I'm not sure on which this one is either Neville??? !
  15. i think you may encounter some problems by making this cage from wood. Not only from rotting or poisoning if they chew it, but water logging, the wood will probably deteriorate, harbour alot of bacteria and fall apart in time...
  16. Ones definatly a dominant pied, the baby i'm not so sure on... any pics of the back of it's head by any chance? Body patterning looks more RP there.... Nice score though Bet the kids were impressed, hubby probably not so much haha
  17. He's staying with me they Both are:)
  18. UPDATES!!!! :D Well it's been quite a while so I thought it was about time for some updayes on these two. The cock is sooo gorgeous now!!! He'd be much younger than I originally thought when he was ill. They've both put on weight and are normal sized birds now, the hen even has a partner and the cock flirts all day with branches:P - Doing his "I'm so sexy pose" I have a photo of the hen, but photobucket won't let me upload it or work for me at all, so i'll have to post her at a later stage
  19. Well and update on these bubs I bought all five off of Kaz about a month or so ago, maybe a bit longer? here's how they all look after their moult. - Suspected cock 1 - Hen 1 - Hen 2 - cock 2 - Hen 3 They all had to have a picture taken then put in a cage so we could make sure we had each individual

Preening alot is totally natural. It's part of their daily lives. We do our hair have a shower, paint our nails etc. They preen Only when feather loss, damage or other problems occur is it a worry. Just think of it as a recreational sport/relaxation time for them
  22. I think she'll do fine She clearly loves her mummy
  23. Excellent progress Deb!!! She's certainly grown into a lovely pet after all the struggles you two had
  24. So gorgeous! his girlfriend loves his mug shot :hap:
