  1. Agree, definatly a male Fallow Some hens do strange thinks... No-one ever really knows what's going on in their head I guess... If it was the same parents as the fallow bub they were more than likely fallows also.
  2. Yes, it's one of their traits. Same as the iris rings. Some have less markings, some have more so the patch may or may not be seen as easily.
  3. I think he's really cute! Looks like you have a career in animae ahead of you!
  4. It's definatly a fallow then Could have been either sex. Liv was basing the sex on the cinnamon mutation, but now we've concluded it is infact a fallow it could have been either sex. Any photo's of it front on?

Congratulations! What gorgeous bubs! Welcome back
  6. Lovely pictures! That one who passed away looks fallow like from the pink aorund it's eye and how the eyeball itself looks red. Lucky
  7. No, the patch on the back of her head is from the dominant pied side of things. As kaz said she's a dominant pied spangle and may be yf2 or just a green.
  8. Congrats AV! As they say though, don't stress, whatever will be will be

  16. Was he aviary bred Liv? Looks like a bit of hanky panky went on elsewhere
  17. lutino masking spangle
  18. I agree, it's up to your personal choice, If my pairs look well and didn't have overly large clutches before i'll allow a third clutch, but no more.
  19. Same from me 1 green spangle and two yf2 spangles
  20. I think boy girl girl... Wow we're all undecided on this one
  21. The green looks to definate green to be a yf blue...? as it's only a light green having yf2 wash over it should have turned it seafoam - had it of been sky blue, or Aqua- had it of been cobalt There's no definate way to tell if she's split blue, as they say, test breeding.
  22. I'm gonna be a pain in the butt and say I'm not positive it's a hen on this one yet, any photo's of it from front on? I'd say it's younger than 4 months by the way
  23. Haha Love the Photo's Kaz! Especially the spikey beastie
  24. Can't always go by iris rings, Agree with Neville, it's the patterning on the Body that shows it. Same as you get Dominant pieds that don't have clearflights but are still classed as one.
