OH i am in for an Ikea trip and baby shopping if you want a hand!

They where all flat. Will leave the two guys in there or the one and the ghost one and wait a week then add another one and so on till I get back upto the level i want. The other tank is doing fine, maybe it was a temp thing

Its great to see that you have taken him to a vet. Also welcome, I wish it was for better reasons. I can't advise on the condition of his leg but I do hope it gets better. I know one member has a one legged Love Bird who is happy and well so there is always hope that he can live a full life even if it is only on one leg.

I am hoping you meant "lived". If you did not, then it is my duty to remind you that comments like that on this board are innapropriate!!! Come on cut me some slack I can't type and the o and the i are really close to each other!

My Avairy is solid around the base but now I am thinking of changing the bottom/floor of it.

the temp is right, the filter is right the ph is right I don't know what I did wrong

Well they are all dead, the where fine when I gave them Breakfast today and then i get home and I can only find one of the female fighting fish the rest where floating! the guys in the cold water tank are fine it's jsut the tropical tank. Going to have to get my boyfriend to come around and work out what went wrong.

Don't tell me that Kaz that was the only reason i got them!

How cool are they I want one!

I know it's so said but business just hasnot been good for them so they are closing down. I am really worried about what is going to happen to Ollie the king parrot that they have in there. If you are heading over give me a yell and will see if we can have a sticky together. I know I was watching them last night and thinking "Hmmm I really could fit a few more in there"

Well my sister calls him Butt Boy :hap: So far we have Jean (the first one hatched and hatched on the day my Nanna ashes where laied to rest so named after her) Head Case (got dropped on his head NOT by me! I will have to keep an eye on him and banned anyone else from touching the bubs, By The Way, I did tell the lady to look not touch but no she had to hold the baby grrrr) Jelly Bean (Cause he was a funny blue colour just after he hatched so looked like a blue Jelly bean, a bit of warming in the hands and he came back to a nice pink but the name stuck) Butt Boy (well you all know about him, will see if I can change his name to Butter) And one last one which is yet to hatch, was laid alot later then the other ones so will see what happens. Funny how I think they are all boys, even the first one will have to post pictures soon so Kaz can tell me what they are!

Ha see a simple get a few to keep the avairy clean has turned into us breeding them! We are bad! :hap: i figure that i will try and get about 4 females so then they can switch their partners around!

I had one and it got blocked alot but then maybe harley is a messy eater, I would get home and find it blocked or leaking and after a few days I decided to stick witht he water dishes.

The one near me Burwood Birds and Pets the are closing down so their fish stock is limited but everything has 25% off, live birds are 10%. So it's good buying there are the moment if you want to get something. The have some really nice big fancy goldfish (what brain tumor is) I wanted to take more but worried about over crowding the tank, but I think i will go back next week and get some more female fighting fish and Platy's as the tropical tank could take a few more I think. They are all so pretty, wish I could spend time at home tomorrow and just watch them! My other half loves fish and has three fish tanks so if we ever get around to moving in together we have talked about getting a massive tank and having a tropical fish set up. Also in a few years I want to try my hand at a marine setup but they cost alot, but I want nemo (clown) fish!

Really did anyone not think something like this was going to happen. the guy said that i could put the big guy in with the tropical fish but well it sort of snowballed and god i am so broke!

Do you have more then one pair? these two males get along fine and I figure if I am going to get them mates then i need two females but not sure about putting two pairs together.

He does look a little on the small side so will keep an eye on him, think he hatched a day or two early if my maths is right so figure that it will work out okay I hope.

So I went to select my fish and in true AV style I was a bad bad girl.... I got one Angel fish, 2 sucker cat fish things, 2 female fighting fish, 3 platy's, some grass plant and a plant on a bit of drift wood. So not bad right well wrong, I then saw this guy I just feel in love with the ugly guy so i got him and then thought he would be lonely and got him the bubble guy and some other ones so that involved another tank and another set up! Oppsss So now I have two tanks and a sister who is ready to draw and quarter me!

Well i went out today armed with non toxic glue ready to do a repair job no so sure if it would do any good and I find 4 babies and mum and dad in the nest box, the cracked egg had hatched but had his butt stuck in the egg shell! Flame was picking at the shell and shaking the bub like mad trying to free him and then Blue would step up and do the same So I took the bub and used luke warm water and eased it off his bum. All is now fine, he is well fed and looks none the worse for having his bum stuck.

Well thanks for that now I am really thinking of going and getting some hens! Some help you guys are! :hap:

If I was to patch it how would I go about that? it seems to be on the middle part of the egg at the fattest part.
