  1. 50% grey green,50%green.
  2. Puting him with another hen, will not help.If he kills in the nest & puting another cock in with the hen with the chicks, might not be a good idea,I would just leave the hen to bring up the chicks.Just make sure she has a good supply of food.
  3. They don`t look to have french moult,to me.
  4. Norm has it got a ring on its leg.If not it could be an old bird.Is there not some show breeders in your area Norm,You could buy there culls from,You would at least, now there back ground & there age &afair chance of buying them, cheaper from a breeder then a pet shop.
  5. No let the hen feed it.It has more of a chance of liveing,if the hen feeds it. Unless you know how to hand feed,
  6. 100% lutino,if the lutino is /blue,50% albino,50% lutino.

  8. :(Laughing out loud): Good ;you never know,There is nothing worse then haveing a good one & no ring on its leg.I had a hen I missed puting ring on & did`nt relise, until it was to late& could`nt show her.
  9. From that pair, there is 40 different combintions. But only 4 visual.
  10. Kaz, did you put rings on them.Just in case they turn out to be ,show quality. The blue cinimmon, looks okay.
  11. You pet breeders, how could you ever work it out.The answer is they are coloured budgies,They have more crosses in them, then you would see on a railway crossing. :budgiedance: :hap:

  16. It sounds like a stroke,if she broke a leg, that would`nt stop her from getting off the floor. If that is the case & it was a stroke.Budgie heaven, would be the best place for her. :angel1:

Kaz,Daz must be doing a good job & price for you & shiping them to you in the west. They look good. Its inspired me to make some more breeding boxs,to replace the old ones I am useing.I have enough sheets of malmite, brought it cheap a $1 a sheet,to make 8 boxes.

Libby,If you are haveing a problem, with hens leaveing the nest.I would be looking for a problem in the nesting boxes,I would`nt have no more then 1 hen a season leave the eggs. If you go along the line of useing the incubator, you will need foster pairs to feed the chicks. A mate of mine brought a incubator to hatch chicks from his good pairs. But gave it away after 1 round, the chicks hatched, but he did`nt have enough fostes to feed the chicks,or the time to hand feed the number of chicks, If you have the time go for it.I would`nt even attempt to feed day old chicks. :feedbirds:

Ihope Splat removed it already.Things like that are dangerous, you can seehow the budgie is hanging by its foot.Just need another budgie to spin it around & 1 budgie foot tangled, budgie panicks, 1broken leg or worse. The other budgie get into the act & 1 dead budgie.
  23. 25% opline voilet green spangle. 25% opline green spangle. 25%opline green spangle. 25% opline green. The cocks will be split for clearbody.

I don`t like anything in the avery, that can fray & the birds can get hooked up in& brake aleg or choak themselves.Ive seen it happen in another person avery. The bird got athread wraped around its neck.
