  1. I am running a cock with 2 hens at the moment, He goes with one hen late aro till morning and the I put him with the other hen for the day and the he goes back to the first hen late arvo again. After hens have laid eggs he will stay with the first hen because the second hen is a feather plucker so hers will be fostered anyway. This cock is a very strong cock and that is why I am doing it. (My white Df spangle)
  2. My ring code is JM4. But I have used BCV rings every year when I run out of coded and 2009 rings were all BCV 3100-3400 I think. Sorry with out checking I can't remember all my BCV ring numbers.
  3. I am sorry, Half blind here  it was the wire that I was looking at not the suffusion  But still should put grey to an albino.
  4. If she is an albino she has too much suffusion in her, you really need to put her to a grey cock to fix the colour up. Green will just make it worse. Maybe you can try a grey cock next time around.
  5. Yuk that looks horriable Kaz poor boy. Touch wood I have never had anyting like that so far. I wonder what courses them.
  6. I reckon Boy
  7. I use pine shavings from the pet store it is dust free, Some breeders use lucerne Chaff that horses it.
  8. No it might blow away, it is recommended to attach anchors straight away. So I just have to be patient
  9. We finished the cementing this arfo, gosh it was a pain in the backside too. I couldn't wait for us to finish it,I hated doing it Just have to do a little step where the door will be now. We plain on putting the shed up Saturday or Sunday week. Have to make sure the cement is really dry enough to take the dyno bolts.
  10. Can't wait Dave, Hoping when Greg gets home from funeral we will start. Have to wait for cement to dry before putting shed up which is annoying. We are using dyno bolts to keep it in place. Then I have the hard task of lining it and that will be a slow process because of money because I am still paying off my car repair. As long as it is ready by next breeding season
  11. Some update pics of Jake taken today
  12. Here is how we stopped Jake from messing up my cementing area The cement mixer that hopefully Greg will be busting his back with tomorrow I can't wait
  13. Nice birds Nubbly, I really really really like the sky cinn
  14. Temperory fence, and when we are working on it he gets tied up He watches from the veranda and sulks
  15. I scrambled (cooked)him one today for brunch he thought that was okay gone in seconds
  16. Great idea Kaz on the photos of the birds , lots and price. Now we know what you paid for them But then if that was me yes I would put up the price to you guys but Greg would be told different . Like my Derango and Skoric hen I paid $80 for her told Greg I paid $20. he fell for it but then when I was talking about getting rid of my clearbody I blurted out but he cost $$$$ and the sky hen $$$ he caught me out and said I thought you only paid this much  When I bought the Last 2 birds a few weeks ago he didn't ask me so I didn't tell him. BUT I think he has an idea
  17. Thanks Nubbly didn't know that, so no raw eggs then
  18. Thankyou GB, Finnie and Squeak, I am really excited now. Tomorrow we finish the cementing off  Finnie how come you can never have an outdoor aviary, TOO COLD.
  19. Not soon enough Kaz
  20. Some chicks from Parents Light green clearbody cock and dark green hen they had 5 chicks, one clearbody hen, Lutino hen, one lt green cock and the other are to young to tell yet but are not ino. I have photos of the Lutino and Clearbody hens. Clearbody hen she has a great head and she is a big bird. She has a very pale light green body instaed of yellow. She probably is a mop she is 4 weeks in a couple of days. This is her last week You can see how much bigger she is than the lutino who is older Her Today Lutino hen today This nest has 4 in it 2 are from the clearbody (the youngest 2) This is a chick from my iffy hen that was given to me. These chicks are from the dilute and sky violet op spangle cock These chicks are from my grey cock and yellow Df spangle hen
  21. I read somewhere that they reckon raw eggs can have salamella Spelt wrong) in them, but I find this ironic because dogs bury bones and dig them up a few days later YUK food poisoning for sure. So what is the difference.
  22. Here is the shed, doesn't look much but it is 3mt x 3mt, 210cm high at wall and 254 high at peak in the middle. I think we are finishing the cementing on Thursday, can't wait . BUT shed probably won't go up until the following weekend because we need to wait for the cement to dry probably before we put the dyno bolts in.
  23. Thanks Nubbly, yes he has dried food available all the time. He gets chicken necks, meaty rib bones etc, I wanted him to eat raw meat but he prefers it cooked. I know about onions garlic is the same but they have to have a lot to be dangerous. We never give dogs cooked bones as they are dangerous. I am going to continue to give him 4 legs natural food for puppies along with my homemade food. There are added supplements in the 4legs for growing puppies.
  24. You should then email Mick Avery I think it is and ask about transport.
