Yes beaks are like finger nails trim back but don't go too short, you will need to trim regulary untill the scaley face is gone. Just cut back to the size it should be close to that so thay can get.

They look awful Trish, you really nead to trim those beaks just get a small pair if scissor trim the beak to the shape its meant to be it is really quite easy.

Vets are paid to advice us that I'm sure, there is no way I would feed my birds pellets as far as I am concern there not normal as seed is. Just keep feeding the way tou always have.

:rofl: I have been told about a lady buying birds from a certain well known breeder, she would hand over her money and the breeder would go inside to get change and while he was inside she would quickly catch a bird and put in down her bra, The breeder non the wiser was doing usual talk and the women was dieing to get going when she screamed with pain, the breeder looked puzzled and she then confessed and she pulled out one of his best hen.. He the breeder said he was angry teh time but it was also very funny to go to that extreme to steal a bird and to be bitten on the breast. :rofl:

As soon as I get my car fixed I would love which I hope to get it all done by March, problem is it doesn't help when I can't work because of my dumb finger. Maybe you can have another one later on so I can come.

splat i think you need to find a new doctor . myn uses mild hypnosis when needling me and i never feel a thing . he reckons the more your relaxed the less it hurts . hes had to stitch me up quite alot since i was a kid too , you would think id get used to needles :fear . beofre you know it you will be back to normal That's why they call him Doctor Death, but to go to another Doctor I need to travel but when It comes to personal things I go to shepp to the Doc that delivered my kids but then he's getting on now

I still a lump on my arm from the needle, it has gone down to the size of 20cent piece with a bright red mark around it and still hurst and I still can't lie on that side at night aghh so annoying. Gee pie becareful with that boning knife that sounds deadly :fear

I have 6 show cages in the wash house and they are driving me nuts so I thought I would finish them today, got one done then hurt my finger. Maybe I can do one a day The pains gone now so I will have a go at the next soon.

Me too, today I have done more with my hand so that's a good sign, have been fixing up my show cages until I hit my finger then I had to stop because of The pain :budgiedance:

But is was funny when I first did it the next day I rang my boss and said I wouldn't be able to work teh next day but I will be right next week and she said I don't think you will be and I said it will be sore bit I will be right, WELL how wrong was I. I am a housekeeper at a resort and only work Thursdays sometimes and every Friday. And it's really hard work. You see it's making the beds aggghh won't be able to for a while. RATS
