  1. Thankyou you Elly, Libby and Birdluv, Yes I am a proud grandmother again this is number 11. Matthew and Megan are coming to see me in the a couple of days , so hopefully more pics can.t wait to see my little girls and baby Harrison
  2. Well actually that has happened here too, I had a hen a couple of years ago that died in the nest (my fault I used saw dust cuttings and I think there was treated pine in it ) so I killed her she was a great hen too. well any way in the morning I found her dead and the eggs cold but I put them under another hen and the whole 6 eggs hatch, but then this year a hen went off her eggs and they were cold and the whole lot were dead in the shell.
  3. Once the eggs go cold is when they die so if the eggs are cold for more than 20 minutes I think then they more than likely will be dead in the shell.
  4. GREAT PHOTO NEVILLE

  14. Hey GB here is my Budgie Dove in the christmas tree
  15. Hi Gb, terriable news, sorry about your loss but I am glad you caught it early. I hope all goes well for you and you loose no more.
  16. Really gorgeous photos GB, we use to have those doves too but the tails fell of after years of use.
  17. okay I reserched it too, yes like are brown snake. We have brown, red belly back and tiger snakes around here and there are others but they are the ones we see the most, actually I see brown snakes on the road nearly every day.
  18. Call a dump blonde but what type of snake is a dugite and is it deadly. But gee Kaz how scary is that. We think we have one here too our dog has been going crazy near a bush near the bird room and what ever it is it is coming from the wood heap and going into the bush which is a climber a night and there is a pond in front of the climber, buffy is trying to jump up into the bush , so question is can a snake climb up a climber and I think the answer is YES\question can a lizard climb up a climber. It is not a possom or anything like that because we have been shaking the climber bush really hard and you think it woould move, last night I was shoving my hand in their when I yelled out to Greg can a snake climb up trees and bushes and he yelled back yes WELL did I pull my arm out fast Anyway still don't know what it is YET BUT back to you Kaz glad you got that snake before it got your dogs OR BIRDS
  19. Oh yes and that was the only difference between the two, I was looking at my fella before and he is meant to be better and I was thinking I think Kaz's has matured better because he looks better than the one I have here but then the one here has just came out of the breeding box so he has to have his moult now so am crossing my fingers he moults to a stunning guy because I am now starting to think about getting him ready for the adult shield in March.
  20. Which one has the blue feather GB
  21. Wow Kaz he looks as beautiful and handsome as ever. Nice boy .I wonder what he would of place if he went back to the adult shield in March.
  22. She a ripper Gb what's her back ground
  23. They look great Liv but gee it is a stinker today all my birds are nearly all on the floor poor things. Got sprinkler on the roof.
  24. I actually didn't think they would even try them but yep they go for it they probably taste a lot better than some of the additives we give them
