A View To The Future
Thanks Heath that was very informative and was the meeting last night. Going to try and look at the birds in a different eye now and stop thinking of variety and thisnk the over all bird. Worry about variety later, well look out my aviary will have a lot of cinnamon spangles soon not that I don't already have my share of them.

Our Aviary
Lovely aviary great job, we use red gum or hard wood birds can't chew through that and it doesn't rot easy, I don't paint my wood.

Thankyou defieldsfamily for your tip I am kinda doing that but quite the same as you discribe so I will try the next, I did the same bird again to today and that pattern is not their so I guess you are right. The lighting is bad only because I took a photo with my dig camera above the eye piece as I don't have a microscope camera yet, but there is one coming soon. Thanks GB it is interesting it will be great when I get my microscope camera but it all cost money.

Microscope Images Of Sick Birds Droppings
This bird has been in islotation for weeks now, and beside doing a few different birds droppings this bird so far is the only one with this pattern in his dropping and crop wash,, as I don't have my book I really don't kow if it means anything. The pattern looks like a fern . I took the images through my camera so sorry they are not good but at least they worked, I had the camera above the eye piece and click . I don't have a camera for the microscope yet. Does any one with microscope experience ever see this or is it nothing. Splat Oops forgot to put the images on

Needs Some Help Urgent
The vet said because her I is so swollen he said to treat her with a broadspectrum antibotic and as he knows I have psittavet here, he said to use that but I prefer to use the oxyB. I reallt can't see how it's going to help unless it fights the over all bacteria , It differently was a feather irrating her eye and Ib thought I was on top of it. We cut more feathers aorund her eye today and there were 2 fine ones in here eye he thinks that is what has caused it. She is the hen Sky blue cinn spangle the hen in my sig. Her problem is she has sooo much feather over her eyes. Just hope she comes could. Ended giving her doxy as I new the measure is right.

Lou Lou And Luvie
There is no puss or mucky eye with hen Kaz, it is a feather that has been giving her ***. BUT the eye is really swollen. But he wants me to give her doxy but seems I have oxyB here I thought I would give that, as it is basically the same stuff but the measure is not in the bottle.

Needs Some Help Urgent
Hi guys, need some help, I have some oxy B here are broadspectrum antibiotic which I only just opened and there is no measure in it. directions say make 5grams to 1 litre of water. The bottle is really small so one of those 5ml spoons that come in the psittavet would be too big. Has anyone ever used the oxy B and if so what size spoon.

Soory Renee forgot to mention the water should be boiled. Well my hen has done a back flip, her eye has swollen over night , so I have been doing the salt water and chlorsig and cutting all feathers around I. The vet adviced me to give her doxy as it is a broadspectrum antibiotic, first I thought why it's her eye how is that going to make it better but then I relised what he ment. The doxy will fight what ever bacteria that is causing her eye to swell they it is.

A Bug In My Screen
- Lou Lou And Luvie
Thanks GB yes I did mean boiled water and then it cool. Like you GB use this treatment first always then go on to the antibotic oinments.- Show Condition
Mine will not be ready until March the earlist.....- A Bug In My Screen
Well I hate that little bug, he is driving me nuts Kaz , he is very creepy, everytime I see it I friek then I remember Oh Kaz's little wierd cyper pet- Lou Lou And Luvie
Slat water kills germs, my hens eye was swollen that bad she couldn't open I used a solution of warm salted water, it didn't worry her at all, I then out the oinment on. If I need anything for my birds like fungle tablets or the chlorsig I will go to the doctors and ask them to write me out a script for the item and I tell them it's for my birds and they are very willing to do it.- Lou Lou And Luvie
Renee I use the Chlorsig on my birds too, it was described for me when I had chemicals splashed in my a while ago and it was to stop any infection they I may get . Of course I thought beauty great for the birds. I had a cock a few weeks ago with a crook eye washed with slat water and put some chlorsig on he a was better straight away. But at the moment I have on of my best hens with a bad eye. I treated whne I first noticed it but then we had a couple of days last that were too hot to handly her because she stresses out so much and squarks the whole time she is awful. WELL THE EYE GOT WORSE all swollen puffy but I have been doing 2 days in row and she is almost back on track . Chlorsig is great stuff but salt water is great is it's own right too.- A Bug In My Screen
I thought I was going nutty, i was that annoyed I told Greg I had a bug in the screen and because there is a crack on the top right hand corner where Lisa smashed this laptop , well I thought who wants a bug on the screen and I was about to give it back. BUT now that I know it is Kaz's little tiny virtual pet bug I will now keep this laptop But I still want to squash that bug- Hello Everyone!
Betty and , Your birds are lovely. I especially love you clear bodies.- A Bug In My Screen
At the sake of sounding dump are you really serious Renee. Oh my god you are serious Renee, Gee Kaz I thought my screen had been invaded, and i was really really upset at the thought of a bug running aroun on my screen. I got the camera out and took half dozen photos to show you guys I wasn't going crazy. But I didn't relise it was only on your Kaz, silly me- Members Texas Clearbody Budgies
Betty your little clearbodies are gorgeous, such lttle cuties. Here is my only clearbody not a good photo though - Lou Lou And Luvie
