  1. That's really interesting Nubbly, I know where Greg gets his wheat from which is direct from the grower he test his.
  2. It could be air sac mite are the fluffed up too as it also could be a respirtery problem, I am just guessing here but here is a link to have a look at http://www.bcv.asn.au/Disease.htm

Last year I had a bird that just died for no reason so Greg cut him open and yes he had tumors everywhere. Cancer I guess you would call it
  9. okay thanks CW a because I thought I was getting better results with the cream. I want to to the vets tomorrow but my car has sprung a leak and the water is dripping out fast even when not driving it so it needs to go the garage tomorrow to get fixed because I need badly. The vet is only there on Mondays too so I will have to see how long the car takes to get fixed and they may not even have the parts and then it a public holiday Tuesday. But I will go out and do the crean right night.

Hi Clearwing yes has left his mark very well, I had to see why he died so I did an atopsy and he had a tumor or a very thick growth on or around his gizzard how ever you spell it , can't believe I didn't through up as I did it all my by myself, Greg did the inspection once I disected him poor fella. His heart was normal along with his kidney and liver, probably old age for sure. Good learning curve though.
  11. Her eye is fine clear as a whistle, the infection is on the side of the eye, I was using chlorsig but he said to put her sraight onton the doxy which surprised me too but it is a broadsprectrum antibiotic should clear it up , likely mmmm, but it is not red like the photo I took that 2 days ago. She had a sore eye about 2 weeks ago and I did the boiled water and chlorisig and it looked like it cleared up after a few days so I put her back in the aviary because she looked all better and then last Monday I found her like this but eye was completley closed so back to the boiled water and chlorisig and the vets straight away.
  12. My best hen has a very bad eye infection, the vet put her on doxy because it's a broadspectrum antibiotic but it doesn't seem to be working very fast because since I stopped using the antibiotic eye cream I think it is worse but he said to use the doxy not the eye cream. This is what she looks like has anyone else had anything like it. It is not as red anymore but still very swollen it looks like it is full of fluid.

Hi everyone, it is a sad day today, my wow bird passed away but he was very old but was hoping to get one more season from him. I loved this bird so much he is responsable for all my good birds I have now as he was my foundation cock. He was complete gentleman, he will forever be in my thoughts and he will missed so badly. I called him "old boy". old boy
