I am usually up before all the birds inside and leave them about 30minutes before I uncover them about 7am.Outside budgies must watch the sun come up as they are up usually before the sun and at the moment it is about 5:30am.

Just fed JJ and I had to swap hand rearing formula as I couldn't buy the one he was on.Anyway JJ loves the new one and is eating more than ever.Last night he flew for a short bit and again this morning. Don't know if I will be able to give this guy up. I'm in love!!!! :hap:

What beautiful birds and great photos.How did you grow the snow peas? from seed out of a packet or fresh? My birds love snow pea sprouts but I buy them from my green grocer.

Well it has been seven days since we lost Pie and tomorrow is the last day I have to do medicated water. JJ has been doing really well and has feathers growing,with more downy feathers on his back.I gave him a small teddy to cuddle up to since he was the only bubba left.(Sonrisa is doing well in aviary). For such a little fella he makes up for his size with personality. All of us have fallen in love with this yellow angel.I was thinking of changing his name to Frodo since he is so small but not sure on his sex yet. The best one JJ is so cute and really hard to get photos of because as soon as he sees my face he walks to me. I'm in love but have a safe and friendly home for JJ if he pulls through. No signs of any other budgie being sick!!!!!!! Yippeeee!!!!!!! This was JJ 3 weeks ago! :feedbirds:

I love the colouring of the first baby,is it cinnamon or grey? Both are very cute.Love those big baby eyes!

They are great photos Bea.Blinkie is a natural in front of the camera.Really handsome little devil.They all look great. "I think she might of been clipped too early and as a result she might have more trouble figuiring out her wings." Never fear my auntie has a cockatiel that never flew until she got her and let her wing feathers grow.It took time but she flies really well now.

Oh Karen he is just goregous.Can really see the difference in these photos.I'm glad he is a gentle giant though.It would be scary if he was a grumpy budgie.In the last photo he looks like a sumo wrestler. I wish he could give some of his size to little JJ who is at the other end of the scale. He is absolutely beautiful though. :sad:

Congratulation feathers the budgies all look very happy and contented in their new home. Hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy all your hard work. I might steel the rope idea aswell and I love the idea of the containers over the water and seed containers.When I had finches they nested in the seed container,this would have prevented that. Looks like you just about have all the colours of the rainbow in the aviary. Love the photos they were absolutely beautiful.

Was wondering when you should worm after breeding.When is it safe for the babies to have worming stuff,eg fledglings etc. How often do you guys worm? I am sorry if this question has already been posted.
