There are several topics on the forum in the genetics section (i think) where members have posted pictures of their budgies different colourations eg it will be called "members spangle budgies" and so on. I found it really helpful to look at the bird with that mutation and then compare them to other budgies. I hope that helps i'm at work heheh not meant to be visiting but while the cats away the budgie addict will play!!!

Just raw straight from the plant!! (washed well of course) My lot in aviary 1 will only eat silverbeet and corn on the cob!! The others in Aviary 2 however eat any vege I put in there!!!

I was thinking of changing mine to bottles a while ago and I bought some that said they were for water but as soon as you tip them up for the water to come out, all the water was coming out so I chucked them out and never worried about it again. I am going to get some of the guinea pig bottles tho that sounds like a great idea!!

I have tried controlled breeding and raised a few chicks, but they got to a certain age and all died! I did everything right so I was told, they were being fed bla bla bla and I still wasn't lucky enough to get any birds to survive. I have kinda gone off the idea for a while, got dissapointed too often. For now i enjoy watching all my budgies in the aviary.

Chucky is kinda green!!!!!:budgiedance: She can shake her groove thang!!!! She can sit on your finger and look into the camera!!!! She has a serious side She has nice smelling wingpits!! She clearly like to read!! heheh .....and she lives in melbourne only 20mins from the city! Chucky chucky chucky!!

That sounds really cool!!! My chucky is tamed but not sure you would class her as trained ehehe......although she can do most of the things suggested!! heheeh

Hi silver the big green vegetable in this picture with my little budgie is brocoli. My birds just love it!!! They get green feathers all around their beaks when they eat it, it is sooo cute!!! They also love corn on the cob.

Chucky loves adventuring in the branches and trying to break the beads!!! I watch her the whole time just to make sure she doesn't chew any wires. Oh and don't let them on the tree if you have had the lights on as these can get quite hot.
