Chucky And Chloe Explore The "supergym"
This is the awesome gym Cheeta and her talented hubby made for me and my birdies. I recieved it yesterday in the mail but did not have time to open the box as I was literally walking out the door to go to work as it arrived. When I got home last night around midnight I got out my trusty philips head and set to work putting it together. It was very easy by the way and the instructions were very easy to understand. I woke Chucky up from her sleep and put her on the gym she immediately climbed the spiral ladder and sat on the top perch!!! Today I put all the birdies on it and they all had a ball exploring. I took a few pics before my battery went dead. Here they are: How teeny tiny does she look on the SUPERGYM!!!!! I am going to take more pics tho!! I just want to say thank you sooooo much. I love it, the colour is perfect and matches perfect with the purple wall in our lounge. So you got a very happy customer here with very happy birdies

Bleediing And Flight Feathers
He is such a handsome fellow okay well this is similar to what happened with Stubby. He couldn't fly up very well and often had crashes which caused his feathers to get damaged and he would bleed. I took him to the vet who did $300 worth of tests on him (which all came back negative) gave me a bottle of antibiotics which would stop any infection and said that maybe he would be better as a indoor cage bird. So we have kept him inside and now he is thriving!!!! He is such a fat and happy bird now and he says 'Stubby good boy' hehe Maybe franklyn hurts his wings when he 'crashes' to the ground? Maybe a smaller cage would help him too. I know this is not an option for everyone. I'm sure someone will have some great ideas on how to modify your aviary to help your little guy too Good luck franklyn!! This is Stubby when he lived in the aviary. Very scruffy and he had very bad feather growth. (Thats how he got his name cos of his Stubby tail) Now have a look at him!! Fat and fully feathered. He is such a funny boy

Boy Meets Girls
I have just bred my first lot of colony birds. Only 2. I have been trying for 12 months. I had a few problems with 1 bird in particular Parsley, who was very aggressive towards other 'clucky' females. She would not let the others get near the nesting boxes and even injured a male, Ice who was protecting his female, Candy, so bad a trip to the vet was needed to stich his whole scalp together. okay this may sound extreme but she was a real nightmare. I had to remove Candy to my other aviary because aggressive Parsley constantly picked on her. Sadly Parsley has passed on just recently and even though she was a bully I miss her. I think she wanted a family of her own in that certain nest box that Candy had chosen. Really all I am saying is that you should get to know your birds and how they treat each other. If only I had known the chaos putting a few boxes in was going to cause, I could have kept a closer eye on them. On a good note they all now live happily together even looking after each others wives and bubs  I just learnt a real tough lesson in the meantime. Thats my 2 cents

Jess's Pretty Babies :)
No Nerwen you are definately not mad for thinking about Honks. He did father some babies with Paris. They are in the other thread maybe thats why you got a little confused. There has been a developmet and it seems that the youngest of the 2 is going to be like marty. When I turned the little one over I found that it has greyish feathering coming through. Here is a picture I took just now. See the different colour? The older one is still the plain yellowish colour like before but here is a cute picture of it too. I am thinking of calling this one Little Nipper as it bites REAL hard and then grinds its beak on your finger just to make sure it hurts that little bit more They are soooo soft and fluffy.
