Hello!!! These are my new birdies I got last sunday! The quality is pretty bad as my camera needs repairing. (something to do with the focus) But I think you get the general idea. This is Maverick and his new girlfriend Wednesday. She was keen but he was playing hard to get haha I am yet to name these 2. They are already going into the nest box. Anyone got any suggestions?

I have decided to pave as I can pretty much do this myself and it will be heaps cheaper (i hope) than getting in a professional to concrete the area. I love my birds and want what is best for them and smelly little mice are definately not good.

Damn ebay!!!!!!!!!! Look what it has done now!!! Is it too late to breed now? I mean with the weather getting hotter is it best not to put birds in. While the room is well ventilated, with a window and an open door, it gets the sun in the afternoon. Is there an easy and cheap way to keep it cool on hot summer days?

Thanks. I had decided to leave the baby i the nest. Everything was fine until yesterday. They die so suddenly, fine and chirpy one hour and gone the next. I work afternoon shift so when i thought about it since matilda was feeding the bub and keeping it warm etc i thought i would just let nature take its course. I wish I hadn't but I'm sure there will be more babies and I am learning as I go.

My guys get veges every second day. They will only eat broccoli celery and a little bit of spinach. My white birds love corn and they get yellow faces when they eat it, its sooo cute. My indoor birds eat anything I do. But its gotta be off a fork or they think its not good enough for them!

When I got him I just fell in love with him. He was so proud sitting on his perch at the breeders. I knew he was the budgie for me! I also have a 'thing' for yellow faces......
