For Lovebird Owners
Cute. Reminds me of a show they did years ago somewhere in Adelaide with a heap of cockatoos doing tricks and riding bikes. I have an aviary full of lovebirds that may be up for rehoming if anyone wants to try the tricks LOL. You'd want to be good at training but

Hearses, Hotrods And Motorbikes
Well done to get her finished, they both look great. Love the trophies! The first picture of the hotrods looks like a picture I have of the cars on the old rubbish tip on the station- but those ones are in much better nic!

Confused Budgies
He may not be attacking but trying some 'moves' on her instead. If they have already been together than big chance its too late to quarantine anyway. But with quarantine you keep the new bird totally separate for 30 days to look for any illness'es appearing due to the stress of moving to a new home. You can try to swap pairs but you may just get the same problems as you are now breaking up the pair, give it a bit of time they should come good- his affections will soon turn to the new bird if they havent already

Baby Pictures
1 skyblue opaline dom pied- (hen?) 2 blue series (!) dom pied (opaline I think hen) 3 green opaline (hen?) 4 green normal ( wings look light- cinny? maybe it'll darken up when they come through a bit more) (based on the cock being split opaline and the hen not showing it. Just my guess- not 100% sure!! Are they in the aviary because you shouldnt have got normals? - he is double factor isnt he? Maybe a light marked Sf.

Freaking Out
I like Atlas too! Mate dont stress- anything you dont have done by the time he gets there can be done during the weeks following- all he NEEDS is a cage, food and water for now. You will be home and big chance he will be too busy settling in to play with too many toys anyway. Pack the bed and pictures up in a corner of the room for now- these are small jobs that can be done after he arrives- you can do it together!! Cat carrier will work well enough for a large bird for now. So go get some seed, put your hens somewhere, set his cage up and chill. You sound as bad as me- things can be done after he arrives LoL

the cins and spangles were from a grey/ light green pairing I had hopes of maybe getting something else- wishful thinking although I did get a grey spangle from them like dad!

Few Piccies With New Camera
Thats what I need to hear Renee- that something other than greygreen can be born!!! I have hoped in the past but just greygreens at the moment!. THe parents of the greygreens (not cinnamons) are light green and greygreen are down on another 5 fertile eggs due in 2 weeks. Now I'm home I can put a few more pairs down before it gets too hot here. Got back from over east just in time to ring a green pied chick just squeezed it over its knuckle- phew I missed ringing its mum when she was young! Your 2 fellas are going well will keep you updated on them. Joel- I'm a fan of light green also. Just have to adjust some pairings to get some!!

Aussie Critters
Just a few pics of creatures I saw while out pig chasing last week Koala crossed the track in front of us and sat low in the tree for some piccies Bearded dragon- thought it was a frilly from a distance he was huge. Possum stuck in a 44 drum behind the shed- he was amazingly quiet- only young but they are usually nasty little things he was taken down the paddock and released as he had been qute destructive in the shed previously! Few emus- they are all hatching at the moment saw alot of nests- some week old chicks with dad and a nest of chicks just hatched and in the process of drying their feathers Not very australian but all I had was the camera so I took a picture Got a heap more; went to Dubbo zoo also and got some great photos there Here is one i like..... welcoming the morning sun

Quick Cooking Rolled Oats..
yeah the porridge in the carton. The rolled oats are chopped up a bit/finer in there, I just add a handfull with mashed egg, grated vegies, budgie starter and some other bits and pieces in there We always have it in the cupboard as my other half has a bowl of it after night shift (the porridge not the softfood:) )

Quick Cooking Rolled Oats..
I add quick-oats to my softfood now and again. They seem to love it- never any left anyway.
