Halls head is near my dads place- he is just out of Mandurah. There are a couple of breeders down that way if I remember- one that had some nice pieds only I cant remember who.... argh Is that Lloyd/George bird related to mine? Terrific news, Those canons are a great camera, the 450d is the latest model out. The good thing is you can use it on auto until you have it sussed. Lots of info on the camera and tricks to take pics on the PC- google is great!! If you get really keen one of the local photo shops (not the print ones, the ones that have a guy doing photos/landscapes) they usually run a course now and again or will do 1 on 1 lessons. We have a few up here. Love the slr's as they are quick, you get the photo you mean to, not the 5 seconds after the photo you wanted!! You'll have a great time setting up your aviary too!!

Are there many over in NZ? They're a different looking creature, Ive seen them before but didnt think they were over here (well Nz!) Any in the wild over there now?

Gorgeous little pup. The boy looks chuffed with it. Kids and pups- they just seem to go well together!! Its a good idea to wear them out just before you go to bed they sleep better then and realise what bedtime is. Toilet training is interesting, but as long as you read their cues you shouldnt have to many dramas- of course there are exceptions lol

Bugger mate, its up to you if you want to persevere for a bit longer to see if they will grow, otherwise either put down or have to make up softfood for them 3 times a day, they will be time consuming if you wish to keep and not an option I would choose (harsh as it sounds) Stock owners are stock losers and these are things we must deal with when owning pets

Cheers Neat- yeah sorry Chrissie- I meant lutino. Does the chick have feathers yet? It should be a yellow bird- lutino as parents are green but theres a chance it could be white which would mean the parents are split for blue- its the same as getting a blue chick from green birds.

Top one split to greywing and MAYBE rec pied as well. Bottom one masking opaline. (is it albino or lute?) as if its a white bird both your greens are split blue also.

All mine loved the tap, maybe the members posts got wiped as they arent members any more? I didnt recognise him I thought it was another bird- he has changed!!

IF you lay cement over a previous layer, rake the bottom layer so its rough- that way the top layer will adhere or else it will flake off after a while if layed over smooth. Also wet the ground before laying the cement- the ground sucks the moisture from the cement and thats what will cause cracks. Most concreters will stomp the smaller areas, its just to rid of excess air that may be trapped and everything setlles better
