Both babies have successfully fledged and are sitting on the perch instead of huddled on the floor.

No cat. My neighbour has one but he is that old I sure he doesn't visit anymore. No doubt someone else around here has one. Poor Boris is in the biggest moult I have ever seen. Her beautiful tail feathers are gone, her head is full of pins & her body is all splotchy - and her feathers are everywhere in the house!

ahem, Boris has recently started meowing. She is so convincing at doing this that on Sunday whilst mum & I were at a bird show (yes, another one!) my dad heard a cat meowing around Boris and he raced to protect her. After searching fruitlessly for a cat, Boris happily meowed at him! Needless to say he was not amused! (I was though!) My mother confirmed that Boris has been meowing.

Daz, I can't help you with the rest of the line, both birds were purchased. The mother was a DEC. The father I got off a fellow from the Caboolture Budgie Club, if you like, I can get the leg ring number from him if you know how to contact the breeder?

This is Jazz' Dad: Her Mum & Dad together: Jazz' Brother, That Boy!: Hope these photo's are of assistance. I've got no idea. Just found a picture of Jazz' sister - this is the only photo I have (I sold her ages ago). Jazz is on the right. The sister has a pale tail & back but unfortunately I can't remember the markings.

What colour would you say this baby is? My dad said she isn't Sky, she definately isn't cobalt. To my eye she looks Teal. Is that such a colour? Boris' grandfathers brother was the same colour.
