  3. The 2 Dark Green hens are split blue and are full sisters. Their father is Henry George blood and is a grey green split lacewing. He is a nice size bird with good feather in the face. The mother is a white lacewing from a champion line.

  9. Hi and welcome We have a great article written by Elly in our FAQ section on taming. it may help. But also your budgie isnt a baby so it may be a little harder if he has had no training before now.
  10. Omelettes daughter to a cock of Jan Mac Mahons. ........so MacMahon on both sides
  11. The hen is bored and needs something to chew. Better a piece of wood, a peg, a millet spray than nibbling the feathers or down off her chicks Even some of the small budgie toys could be put in there for her to play with if enough room.
  12. In that case, you need to take the nestbox off and give them some flight time in an aviary until they are back in condition.
  13. They know Joel. If they are looking to breed they will look first to find the nest. I think we worked out that your birds are not in condition didnt we ? The hen is just past breeding condition where the crusty part flakes off to reveal the white and blue underneath which is past breeding condition. The male isnt fully blue so he isnt really fully in breeding condition. It may be just that mate
  14. I seriously doubt there would be any evidence of mouse poo in a cage with a base like this it wouldnt be in cage it would be on ground with in amoungsrt the seed and **** but im not ruling out mice just think that with a cage that open draft cold is my first concern but could be mice but i dont think its that Draught is definitely a major factor here
