Hello everyone! I thought it would be nice to show you my budgies when they were younger, and what they look like recently Lets start! Belle the day i got her, November 13th 2005 Kirby, few weeks after i got him A few weeks after that, i put Kirby and Belle in a cage together. This was what made them bond... Baby Emma, i got her at 6 weeks old in August of 2006 My dog, Koda... Cuz hes cute in 2006, 1 year old Ill post more later... Photobucket is SOOOOOO SLOWW!!!! Driving me NUTS!!! Took 45 minutes just to get those pictures, and resize them!!!! Kirby

(Laughing out loud) i wish i was the caretaker! (Laughing out loud) Im SOOO EXCITED for when you breed her to Mango!!! You will get all greens though, as Tangos parents were green spangle, and olive green hen... Oh, shes a dilute too (Tango)... Yea, shes very dominant. Hence why she attacked a few of my older birds She always wanted to be on top, and it would never work I know Shawna I would try to post pics of her as a baby, and no one would believe me shes a spangle! Hello everyone! Well, as many of you know, Oscar and Ariel have a clutch of STUNNING BABIES!!! They have 4 babies, in the following colours: cobalt normal (split recessive pied) mauve recessive pied (split cinnamon) mauve recessive spangle pied And a violet cinnamon spangle (split recessive pied) who im keeping!!!! Her name was Saturn growing up, but i want to start calling her the name i want to call her when shes older. I think i want to call it 'Paris'. I LOVE that name, plus it's a good unisex name. Im not sure of 'her' sex though I always thoguth she was a female, but now, her nostril rings disappeared, and her cere is fully pink. Exactly like her brothers cere. It looks different then her two sisters, so i think she may in fact be a he! He just turned 4 weeks old And is VERY cutee!!! As you will tell from the fallowing piccies!!! She fell asleep in there Notice her violet body!!! I love how she lays flat down...soooo cute!!! *cute glare* He LOVES being held! He can sit there on your hand, chest, anywhere!!! He just wants to be with you all the time, and loves being cuddled He loves to just watch you, and nibbles you ever so softly. Using his lil toungue to lick your finger, arm, or where ever As you can see, im totally in love with this lil beauty of a bird!!! He's PPPEEEERRRRFFFEEECCCCTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh! Genetics wont tell me her sex As the parents are: Dad- blue spangle/split cinnamon, and recessive pied Mom- violet recessive peid cinnamon Kirby

Daz, i have to say... You have done one of the, if not the best, jobs i've ever seen of making a fully functional, fully DIY, awesome bird room!!!! You deserve 50 beers mate!!! Enjoy all the hard work, sweat, and pain you went through, just to spoil your birds wrotten, and give them an awesome home Props to you man!!! When are you going to put the other birds in the flights? I still think you should put the babies in the middle, and either sexed adults on the ends (Laughing out loud). Up to you though mate, after all, you are the only one to decide (Laughing out loud) Have fun releasing them! I bet its SUCH a great feeling... You should be honored! Kirbs

Thanks!!! I think shes got competition though! (Laughing out loud) I did want to keep a spangled, hopefully pied... But i didnt think i could get cinnamon spangles!!!!! Saturn, baby 4, is cinnamon. Then i look, and TWO middle tail feathers are white!!! Thats a for sure sign its a spangle! I have never seen a blue cinnamon spangle before!!! So, does anyone have one i can see? Or piccies? They must be GORGEOUS!!!! So, now im nto sure if i should keep Saturn, or Neptune (now Paris)... I guess ill see whos more gorgeous, and who likes me more when the time comes! Yea its *very* hard to see the spangling in pics anyways... In person some feathers are opening up, and they look EXACTLY like Oscars feathers! (He's her spangled daddy )... I cannot wait either! Hey everyone! I just thought i'd share a few pics of the new addition to my flock You may reconize her, and realize im keeping her! As many, if not all of you know by now, (Laughing out loud), im ABSOULUTELY in (love) with spangle pieds. So, when i finally bred my own, how can one turn the chance of keeping such an angel down? :angel1: Here are some new piccies i just took of my new baby (literally speaking aswell as shes only 17 days old )... Hope you think shes as cute and perfect as i do! (excuse the messy food covered beak, i cleaned it right after the pics were taken)... She probably is a cobalt, if not skyblue, recessive white spangled pied!!! I'm thinking, and have a feeling she's a lil female... But if not, i picked the forever name Paris, as it can be a male or female name. Sounds SUPER DUPER CUTE, and i've wanted a bird named Paris for a while now!
