Oh no shawna Im am so sorry to hear all this! Out of all people, why did it have to happen to your son, and your family You will get through this though mate. Hey! I got a new great cage yesterday! It doesn't look that big in the pictures but i's HUGE in person! Its 36" long, 18" wide and 18" tall... Trust me, it's MASSIVE!!! Look compared to Diegos big blue cage! Only 3 budgies are sharing it now (Lilly, Tobie and Chico) so they are loving the space. It comes with a divider, and has tons of room for toys of all kinds, shapes, sizes and styles! I have 8 perches in it, and they still have TONS of room to fly. Im very pleased how much they like it. They even turned down the chance of free flight today! Thats rare in my house... (Laughing out loud) Here are the few piccies... Spot the 3 tini mice.. i mean budgies! Yup... trust takes time. No matter what pet you get, they need time to learn more about you to become more trustworthy :hap: Im sure, no in fact i KNOW, they will both come around fast, and realise you are great fun Just always speak to them softly, never shout, never grab them. If they fly away, simply put your finger infront of them, they will step on, and if you would like to return them to their cages, do so. If you want to keep them out a bit longer, simply put your body inbetween Cinder and the cage. So she cannot see it, and thats when you should add millet spray, to show your hands will not hurt them Nathan.

Thats good to hear! Are they taming up better now that they are alone and are getting to know you as their freind? Do they stay on your finger or zoom off to the floor or back to the cage?! Hey you! Everyone, Cinder is the new owner of the former 'Neptune' from Oscar and Ariels 1st clutch The recessive spangle mauve pied female Cinder's brother took Mars home too! You guys will be amazing budgie owners, and just to let you know, the way your baby (I will let you tell the members what you named her) was on you yesterday, i knew she liked you, thats why im so pleased you took her and your brother took 'Mars'... ps- She will most likely stay near the top of her cage for the first few days, so you can take out the food cups that were in the smaller side doors, and place them on the side of the cage near the top, and take off the dish cover. That way she will see it. Then once she knows it's the food dish, you can place it anywhere and she will find it Best of luck!!! Nathan.

Hey man! Where in Canada are you? Im in Guelph, Ontario! Or are you 'Marlon' off of JB?!?! I use the black plastic ones found at SuperPet, Petsmart, or any other pet shop... They work great, are fairly cheap ($14.99) and are easy to clean. They also have hooks to attach them to cages, you can picture which side you want the door, and have a plastic veiwing screen as well as a black main screen so the babies don't fall out I'd rather have one that opens from the top though (so less material falls out), and i want to try using wooden ones... Then they are split for ino... Since the green hen is split to blue, and the grey is too, thats how they get albino and lutino (white is from the blue series, yellow is from the green)... Nathan.

Hmm... This is a TOTAL guess so tell me how i do... Grey cock x light green hen To start off with both split to DEC. As a yellow DEC is from the green series, and the white DEC is from the blue series (read about blue splitting below)... Then both split to blue... About the yellow face, would the hen be golden faced? Or mistaken from a yellow face blue type II thats very green?!
