Wow thanks Kazza!!! Thats great advice!!! IVE GOT GREAT NEWS!!! :hap: Bubble Gums eating!!! He can hull husks by himself, and eats quite a lot!!! WHIPEEE!!! (Laughing out loud). Im soooo excited! So hes fine! He plays well, eats very well, and is very healthy! In fact, his crop was the biggest out of the babies!!! Isnt that great!!! So, im very happy for him! I think im going to NOT go to get it trimmed. Like you said, ill have to keep getting it trimmed, if i do it once. But hes able to eat, and play, which i did Not think he was able to do before. Kazza, can i see a few pics of your males beak? The one you said is kinda like Bubble Gums beak? That would be even better! (Laughing out loud). Thanks matey! NOTE: If i do see his health declining, i will DEFINATELY get it trimmed. I just think for the itme being, i will wait and see how it does. Even if i dont get it trimmed, so i just leave it, even the lowerbeak? Or either way am i going to have to trim it? My mom really wants to keep him So i think we will! Hey everyone!!! Here are new pics taken today! Sadly..NONE of them are sold No ones getting back to me, and the people that were interested (the one guy wanted one for a looong time, but ditched them for a english budgie baby, and theo ther people that wanted one, apparently said i booked an appoinment for them to come and see the babies which i did NOT, so they came and no one was home..i e-mailed them a few days ago, but did not get a repsonse...so im not sure what happening there ) Anyways, here are the new piccies!!! Thanks feathers I am still at my dads house. I get home December 31st at 11:20am becuase my moms WHOLE family is taking a family picture So, ill book appointment ASAP when i get home...then get him looked at. Good thing is i got $$$ for xmas so i will use that towards him. I also thought of keeping him, and my mom even mentioned doing that :hap: but im not sure. Id LOVE to...but with Diego (new tiel) im getting i dont want to have 2 very tame attention seekers in 1 house. As my other budgies arent really tame, so they do their thing, but with a special needs handfed baby, and a newly weaned cockatiel baby in the house, thats just to much...Well see though, i will keep him if he cant eat even after a beak trim, as ill feed him Zupreem pellets, and such...but if it works out great like i know it will (getting his beak sanded) ill sell him to a good home. Thanks everyone!!! I have to take Bubblge Gum (white pied) to vet :glare: Her beak is very messed up :ausb: Instead of the top beak curving down, it is kinda pointy, and she had some food that got stuck on it. So over time it got moulded in. It has now fallen off, so shes got a huge gash in it (its visible in some pics above). So i feel it is right to bring her to a vet for checkup and get her beak sanded into shape...Shes starting to fledge now, and i watched her for a good 5 minutes yesterday trying to husk seeds..she cant :budgiedance: So timing is critcle! I get home on Dec 31st...so thats 6 days. She has not left the nest yet, but she will any day now...so im scared if when i get hom eBelle kicks her out of nest (becuse i saw them mating again Which im not letting them have more babies, that will be 3rd clutch, to many for them to handle in a row)...So, hoepfully when i get home in 6 days, shell still be accepted in the nest, i can get her beak sanded, then get her home to start practising eating before her parents kick her out of the nest which is any day I will keep you all posted!!! I hope it turns out for the good! (Laughing out loud) Kirby

Arent the cutest of the bunch?!?! (Bubble Gume behind, Reese in back corner under toy)... Starburst, JellyBean, Skittles, and Bubble Gum Such cuties eh?!?!? JellyBean took his first flight today...it was actually very g raceful and he was very coordinated! I see him out of the nest a few times a day now...in food dish pecking at food I also see Starburst out a lot...never seen BubbleGum though. This pair in the past has given me a white recesive pied, yellow face skyblues, a violet normal, a cobalt normal, and a yellow face cobalt. So far from this clutch i have a yellow face cobalt, a white recessive, then others are too young to tell..Sadly, 6th baby dies lastnight..got trampled But i still have 1 left for sale...you oculd be the 5th I never knew we were so close!! Thanks you guys I know, baby budgies are sooo ugly they are sooo cute!! :hap: (Laughing out loud) hha Candace...No, there is no entrance yet...My mom made it, but we still have to drill the front whole in The birds are in the black nest box (seen in last picture)...This wodden plywood box is 12" long, 8" wide, and 9" tall or so abouts... Its very well built, and has two hinges that open the whole top so i dont have to worry about any babies falling out when i want to see them..I driled 5 air whols on either side of the top of it..for ventalation Also, im not making it into a final nest box yet becuase first of all im not setting up anymore pairs for at least a year, and when i get my tiel around xmas, this is going to be his travel cage Its big enough, well built, will keep him warm, and pretty light weight... I may make another one in spring to use for breeding, then keep this one as a trvael cage for my tiel, or budgies Would work great!!! Kirbs

I agree with Pheobe!!! And if your "only young, and hard to understand sometimes" then try to be clear, nice, repsectful, and freindly. As i know many people, including me think there should be an age limit on forums, and if you look at the past few rude comments, they were made by under 12 year olds. Are you serious pheobe???:hap: I have 6 in one 32" long, 21" wide, and 36" tall..they have more than enough room...However yours is square which is one of the worst shapes So, for that reason, id say 4 or 5...As they will go to the top of the cagee mostly..and more than 4-5 will be to crammed...
