  5. You could not tell the yellow face gene on a green budgie because they always have yellow face because that is the base color of a green budgie yellow.

  14. Here was the picture and our members had to decide what this budgie was thinking. There were so many good captions but ONLY 1 can WIN but wait there was a TIE!! So we have 2 winners....     MB and Jenene this is funny you brought this up because this was brought up on a dog board I belong too and here in the US 8 wks is when you can legally sell them here too. Why? There have been studies that during the 4th - 8th week this is when puppies learn social ladders, bite inhibition, standards on being a dog by playing with their litter mates, it is kind of like budgies if you take them away too early they don't learn certain skills. This is why 8wks is now a standard among different countries because they have learned for most puppies they will be more socially fit for their future ahead of them. It is good you keep in close contact with the owners incase a problem ever arose but it is certain something to read up on especially if you decide to have another little down the road.
