very odd, I agree with Norm on what he said. budgies are not known to be feather pluckers usually just the bigger birds, I would keep an eye maybe a molt? Be careful when you let him fly he will not fly straight but to the side so I would watch out for that too.

Welcome to the forums, I agree with Liv I see the scaley face too he will need to be treated for this immediately before it gets worse. I also agree with MB about Bluey she is too young to be mating and having a clutch. The recommended age to start breeding budgies is 12 months to about 4-5 years of age depending if it is a cock or a hen.

I think it is a really good idea and it also to me as a pet buyer would show wow they care to do this as most pet shops don't do that to me it shows they know what is going on with their birds that is me though.
