Confirmation Of Type......?
I agree with Sunnie, if she has opaline Neat which I don't see it could be masked but I don't think so. The yellow splotches on her body are very normal that is from the Yellow Face Type 2 gene and as she molts she may become yellower on her body . She is a very pretty bird. You should enter her picture in the Budgie of the Month Competition.

What Do You Do For Exercise?
I walk/jog for an hour and then I also have an couple exericse tapes that I really like that I do either with it that day or by themselves if it is a rainy day, I also have a treadmill (boring) that I only do if I can't walk outside. But I just started getting back into the routine with the 2 kids during the summer I didn't exercise like I should have. So I am on and off with it.

An Update On My Boys!
Here is what I wrote up for the FAQ and it worked for me. Here is a method that I have used and found to be useful when introducing a new bird to the existing flock. This method is primary to be used if you are introducing in a small setting (such a inside cage or a small aviary). Those who have large aviaries may have different methods since the situation is different. When I introduce Pretty to Merlin it was a gradual process. When quarantine was over these are the steps I took. 1. I first let them out together on top of the cage with complete supervision 2. I kept their cages side by side but not where they could beak fight or pick at each others toes. So about 2 inches apart 3. I then let Merlin go in Pretty's cage during the day supervised only 4. I then let Merlin go in Pretty's cage during the day unsupervised only after I knew that everyone body was settled. 5. After I knew the daytime unsupervised time was okay, I then housed them together. Now not everyone may do what I did but this is why I did this. When I first introduced them Pretty thought Merlin was a girl (he was a boy) and kept trying to jump on his back plus he was very hyper flirting like mad. Merlin kept refusing his actions of love :happy-dancing: and would do a lot of dolphin noises. I moved on to the next step when Merlin was doing so much dolphin "mad" like budgie noises and Pretty settled down. For me it took just a little under 2 weeks. Everyone is different some members can put their budgies in straight away (after quarantine is over) but I could not

What Type Is He?
He could have been full body greywing. I think that the wings were pale because he was both cinnamon and greywing but it could have been cinnamon and clearwing which would account for the bright body colour That is why I ask because the body is bright and following more the full body or the clearwing. Though let me ask you I didn't realize they could be considered greywing if their wings were brown I thought that would be just cinnamon but I see how they could be carrying the 2 different genes because they lay on the different allele...so how do you explain a bird with brown being a greywing?

How Much Does A Budgie Eat?
Don't put food on the bottom budgie will rarely go to the bottom of their cage unless they are used to foraging for their food which most are not. You should cut it up and put it on a flat small plate or you can use another seed bowl or the same one you use for seed. Mix seed with the veggie and add to her cage for the first 4 hours of her morning when she first wakes up. Take out the food at bedtime and place in this combination first thing in the morning for her. After 4 hours you can discard the food, wash out the bowl and replace with seed. Introducing new food takes a while and patience start with leafy greens they are more apt to try those along with grated carrots. We also have very good suggestions in the FAQ section under Food and Nutrition.
