Motezuma Should there be a rule on repeating names? Like a name can only be said once?
  2. They are good prices and usually arrive within a week. (I am guilty of ordering some stuff )
  3. No that is not egg bum. Egg bum is on the underside around the vent. She just has poofy feathers there, and I would say a slightly hinged tail.
  4. Pie Shirt Cake Shirt
  5. Mork is a dominant pied skyblue spangle. And Mindy looks like a dilute reccesive pied spangle
  6. I don't know much about it. But Bleach is different to ammonia. Bleach is Hydrogen peroxide whereas Ammonia is ammonia. I wouldn't think it's the best thing to use. If you are unsure, just rinse it with plenty of water. I prefer to use vinegar as it is very effective and not so dangerous.
  7. I wonder if he has cerebellar hypoplasia, which is part of the brain. Just throwing it out there. I don't know what diseases can cause it in birds, but it can happen. A hypoplastic cerebellum, means that the cerebellum is small and almost absent and since the cerebellum is the centre for movement control, animals with it have a very ungainly walk. They can still move and such, but their movements aren't fine and controlled as they would be in a normal animal. They are born this way and stay like this their entire life. But they are very efficient at adapting. In cats it is often caused by the queen becoming infected with feline panleucopenia (parvovirus) when she is pregnant and all resulting kittens have hypoplastic cerebellums. In cattle it can be caused by bovine viral diarrhoea virus during the cow's pregnancy. It can also happen just from developmental issues. Like the cerebellum doesn't develop properly and you end up with an animal that is a little unco-ordinated in their movements. Here is a video about a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia: Charley If you want to try and find out what is wrong with him, take him to an avian vet

Yes, It's gross! Have you ever had coconut jelly?!
  9. Haha awesome! Pie FTW!!! (For The Win) You can get T-shirts from RoosterTeeth with Pie or Cake on them!
  10. I have them posted on the Member's greywing's page I think. Anyway here they are. They are all spangles too, which makes it so much harder(well for me anyway) to tell. Isis Robbie Alo (hehe, you guys must be sick of these pictures by now. Maybe I should get new ones, but that takes longer and I'm lazy ) Hmm they haven't come out very nice. I'll just go see if I can get some better ones. okay here we go guys. Be ready to be blasted with pictures (My finger is photo trigger happy!) Alo is unrelated to the other two. Isis is Robbie's mum. Alo Isis Robbie And I just thought this was cute.
  11. Post their pictures again SW :hap: In this post? Or a new one? I'll post them tomorrow. :hap:
  12. My tamest budgie is a girl.
  13. Depends on who you buy it from. If the bird dropped dead soon after you bought it, I would take it back and ask for a refund, even if it is sick. No you do not keep your quarantine cages in the same room as your other budgies if you can help it, otherwise doing so defeats most of the point of quarantine as they are still sharing airspace. Quarantine means "to keep isolated from others for a certain period".

Hi and Welcome to the site. This is a really good site to learn the different mutations: Budgie and Parakeet Place
  15. I don't know. I'm not sure if what I've got are clearwings or full-body-colour-greywings.
  16. You bury them or they begin to smell funny ......................... Hahahaha. You could do as Kaz said or put them in the fridge and take them to the vet for a necropsy.
  17. Oooohhh. okay. Yep Harry is definitely not an opaline spangle from those pictures Sally still looks boyish. How old is she?
  18. Spots?
  19. They are looking so much better now. Good on you
  20. I go for 4 weeks. I think some zoos do it that long too. 3 months is the best quarantine length if you want to be extra sure.
  21. He does have more colour than your opalescent spangle though Kaz. Perhaps if we had a shot of his back? I agree with you Kaz, he would definitely get marked down on the opaline spangle part, but if he is heavily opalined in the V area, then to me that would suggest opaline spangle. Looking at the side of his neck though you are probably right. I would still like a picture of his back though.
  22. It is called a Hungi, Brez. Well that is what the Maori call it anyway, I don't know if it would be spelt or said differently in other cultures. Hungi food has a definite taste to it.
  23. I would say Harry is a cobalt or a skyblue carrying violet, as he is very vibrant and dark for a skyblue. He could be opaline Kaz, just a poorly marked one, seeing as we can't see his whole back. I have seen opalines where the spangle markings went normal towards the outer part of the wing. Trixie is a sky blue opaline domiant pied. Yep Girl is a sky blue opaline spangle dominant pied. I agree with Jen, looks like Sally could be a boy.
  24. Ooo how scary!. What a pity about the sugar free eye candy.
