  4. Poor you . Is it a treatable tumour? Where is it?
  5. Sounds strange. However if she has been doing this her whole life then she should be fine. Have you ever got her checked out by the vet?
  6. I would definately say the second one is female. Her cere is light blue.
  7. I took the nest box away.
  8. Sorry to hear abotu your baby Kaz. It's sad when you find it all cold. :oliveb: Daz: It's umbilical cord was just really the dry wispy remains of it. It looked like a hair. So I don't think that was it. It had its yolk in its tummy. When I found it dead, though, it looked like it had been ruptured inside from being squished.
  9. I think he is a girl too. But either way he/she is adorable. :oliveb:
  10. Cool. I bet you'll start furnishing it as soon as you get it in the door. :oliveb:
  11. Wow that is a nice cage. It could probably do with another perch. I nice natural one or a rope perch. :oliveb:
  12. Yeah. She looks like sky blue. I think some blues have green tails sometimes.
  13. Thank you. I thought maybe if I put a small ring of cardboard around the next one that might help to save it.
  14. First one is a yellowface type 2 spangle blue --> exactly like my babies. 2nd baby is a light green spangle. Can't see the others.
  15. It's good that you managed to get him ot a vet. Good luck. We will be thinking of you.
  16. Well. She actualyy laid 11 eggs in the end. But she is spending more and more time off the nest. So I took the top of the nest box off and covered it with mesh to discourage her from producing another clutch. I don't know whether to take it away or not, because i don't want to take it away while she is eggnant, because she might become egg bound. Should I take the nest box away?
  17. I've done it hile she had eggs as well as chicks. But the chicks were about a week old and the eggs were duds. But she didn;t seem bothered by it and still incubated the eggs. Infact she hatched a foster chick today. Unfortunately it died though.
  18. Hi and welcome to the forums. The picture isn't working.
  19. Unfortunately the baby died. I found it squashed. I'm quite sad about it. :angel1: Poor little thing
  20. Well If you do percentages of the stuff, you'll find it will last longer because you will be using less of it each day as you use more of the new stuff. Other wise by a new packet of the old stuff and the new stuff and do it that way. But perhaps you could do it slower or add one as variety.
  21. The one in the box is sooooo cute: Snicket. Girl: Mia Milee Mercedes Dune June Kitty Thyme Pistachio Almond Radiata Lump <-- hehe that sounds cute Candy I hope that helps.
  22. White baby could be a dark eyed clear or a DF Spangle. What are the parents? Vry cute. The white one looks like a cute marshmallow. Actually just looking at the other baby which looks like a spangle, I would say the white baby is a DF spangle. But still would like to know what parents are then I can confirm it.
  23. Blinks is THE man!
  24. Mmm yes. I am quite curious about that too.
