I personally don't like clipping small birds. Providing it's done correctly then there shouldn't be any issues but I wouldn't clip.

That's good news about Jim. It could also have been a really small fluffy feather that got down there.

Just keep an eye on her. She should be okay but watch out for any strange droppings over the next few weeks and also keep a check on her feet for possible foot issues. Also look out for any unusual behaviour or lack of appetite. She should however be alright.

Watch out for any pesticides in the veg, safe levels for humans but can pose a risk to small birds
