It is the second semester that is really hard to get into. :budgiedance: . However, I'm gonna try my little heart out. In NZ, you need to do chemistry, biology, physics, maths and English in school, as prerequisites and you must do 5 days of work experience at a vet clinic. Link to comment

Never say 'it is too much, too hard, or too tiring' Just keep at it, and look to the future, and how many lives will be affected by the good work you will be doing. Cindy Link to comment

I wish I hadn't been such a woose at your age - I thought I would faint at the sight of blood! (Laughing out loud). I now have 3 boys, and I'd be permanently unconscious if that was the case! Every vet student has to do it. It is part of the course, but if you don't do well they don't let you continue and you have to start again. So unfortunately I can't let you in on any juicy vet bits just yet, unless you wanna know some chemical formulas, evolution and how to calculate the displacement of a car travelling at 30m/s for 7 seconds. :bluebudgie: Link to comment

Really? You have to learn that once you're there?? I've already done all that, and that alone isn't enough to get me into vet school. How old are you? If you don't mind me asking. Things must be very different from over here. Link to comment
