okay.. i dunno what she's done to the photos.. but these are Debbie's birds. and all her birds are in quarantine together because that was the easiest thing i could advise her to do. And I know alot of people will be upset about it, but there was nothing else she could do.

Some of you will notice my Cloud and Peach are among them. They were early birthday presents.

Isn't the little boy boy cute!

Also I think, the more informed members are gonna need to tell her there colours/mutations..

I like the colours of the pair in the first photo, quite interesting, especially the cock.

As you have nesting boxes colony style in your aviary, you must make sure that all birds under 12 months of age are removed to another cage or aviary. If not you will have birds trying to breed when they are not old enough. Just one of the pitfalls of colony breeding :cake:

Quarantine is done for 30 days.

Normally all new birds are kept in a separate cage well away from the existing flock for 30 days. Many people worm, mite and disease treat during this time too.

Lovely birds you have

This lack of quarantining and straight into breeding mode would account for Gails illness. You may have more than her go down ill now due to the loack of knowledge about quarantine. Be vigilant and yes take out all nestboxes and look in our FAQ section and read up on quarantine.
