Im sad to say but our family pet budgie Hobart passed away while we were on holidays, my sister was looking after him, but we think he may hav fretted for us. Is this common?? he was only 6mths old. R.I.P Hobart xx

OMG!!! Another friend has just informed me that she has budgie egg about to hatch in an incubator ( STUPID!! ) and she wants me to take them when the do because she doesn't know how to hand rear. So, what's worse than having to raise baby budgies from two weeks old during school? Having to raise baby budgies from day one during school

Left my husband in charge of my birds over 4 days away. He decides its a good idea to open a window near my largest cage of birds in freezing temperatures and forgets to shut it. Now I have all those birds sick and under treatment. Have lost four so far. Total losses from him looking after birds while I was away 15. Lesson to be learnt...husband not to be trusted in charge of birds.
