Yep chickweed is a winter annual, and like you RIP I have heaps at the moment.

Well it was a great day, with some very nice birds on display. A modest turn out with maybe 20 people, mostly club members. Even with all the advertising that was done through the local papers we only got one new person to turn up on the day. Shame really as the food and people were very nice I'm off to the auction tomorrow with the club to buy some birds

What are people feeding there breeding birds to feed there chicks? I know some like to use egg and biscuit and oats, what's your recipe to grow strong and healthy chicks Cheers

Hows pair 15 going? I really like that grey cock. He reminds me of the 09 I had, but unfortunately he passed away two days ago :hap: And he was my best bird that I had purchased from an auction, this hobby can be hart breaking at times. I'm glade yours are doing well
