  1. With me it depends on who in the family is doing the namimg! My son has named a few.. J.T... aka Jonathon Thurston Bowie... aka Matty Bowen Billy...aka Billy Slater And the list goes on.... My daughter has named a few - very girly names... Grace Lacey Poppy Anastasia Etc... Me..well I am for the "different" names.. Old man budda Austin Sparkey Mr Grump Droopy LooLoo :rofl:

  4. An update on my pet types... She laid 6 eggs but 1 was cracked on the bottom of the cage so I disposed of that one. If my calculations are correct the first should hatch around the 2nd of September.. I am looking forward to seeing what I get, and learning some background mutations of my birds... 1 week to go !!!

  7. That's so sad M6B... ...It does sound as if Lady was egg bound.... Maybe next time you could get a pet sitter to come to your house? I know it would cost money - not sure how much - but at least they would be looked at and checked daily? If I was closer I would have come and checked them for you...

  16. That's terrible Kaz..... I wonder why they do this...they sit on the egg for weeks, feed and look after the chicks, then all of a sudden they do this.... Poor little darlings...

  20. Don't at first glance she does look recessive but when you really look at the patterning of the marks on the head and wings she is showing dominant pied. Is that the black patches on her wings you mean Elly?

I checked yesterday, and the pair I have together had 2 eggs, checking them this morning there was a egg on the floor of the cage with a small crack, can I put it back in? can I try some clear nail polish? Or should I just dispose of it? It was cold, so it had been out for a while I think.... Thanks in advance.. Anne
