nice bird...it is past the stage of when a DF spangle can have plum eyes as that is in the nest. looks like you will have to wait a few months and keep an eye out for the rings. Your cobalt blue is a boy the other is a bit either or but I would lean to male

Yes neat it is a spangle Trait but other mutations can have the mixed cheek spots as well (pieds). I was stating in this instance it as a key to determine clearwing or spangle.

first one looks yf cobalt second one it hard to tell in that picture but love how he looks asleep. the last one i would think yf violet rather than mauve.

that's good news... I will added for others reading this if you do have to help the chick it is best just to clear the head of the chick of shell, that way the mother can feed and give energy for the chick to completely break free. If you remove the shell too soon the Umbilical cord (yes there is one) might not have disconnected from the shell and you can harm the chick.

Green Spangle, the colour is juts issues with poor markings. also known as opalance. In the first picture the cheek spots where the key to look at, they were a mix of blue and white which is a spangle trait where as clearwings have full cheek spots.

what are you looking for in the out come? type of colours or just a bird for showing? I like the grey cinnamon and that would give you more cinnamons (of both genders)

pictures would be needed to tell their types. have a look in the mutations threads and see if you have birds looking like that can help as well

can we get the age of the birds? I'm not seeing the normal brown change that a hen gets, more the palness a recessive pied male can get when not in breeding condition.

in that second picture it looks like cere is turning brown which would mean a girl. Pretty would suit her as a name.

nothing you can do to correct his feet now, sound to me you are doing great if he wasn't panicked with your hand in the cage. getting a wooden banch would give more grip and better for him than the plastic one that come with the cage. I natural one from a safe tree would be great. (gum works well)

Welcome Vixen you are a nice looking budgie. he is a yellowface type 2. Does he always stand like that or was he moving when you too the picture? He isn't a super young bird as he has already had this first moult and lost the bars on his head (3 months and older) you can still tame him. talking to him as you walk past is great. feel free to read up on the taming topics here on the site. and welcome again.
