I went to an auction yesterday to see if I could increase my Show Bird Stud. Here are two I got. The Female Cost $100 au Lt Green Opaline The Male Cost $20 au Grey Green Normal Average Price for a Male was $135au and $190au for a female. Average cost of the budgies were $166au High budgie sold for $520au....... I was bidding on that one but it was a bit over my limit. Edit: Got the price on the females wrong.

You haven't said if the baby being attacked is a female. The hen may think it is another hen trying to steel the nest. I would put dad and baby in a different cage but try to give enough seed and water on the floor of the cage for the baby to start to get the idea of feeding it self. Also keep an eye on the hen to see if she will start on any other chicks.

Wow! Except for the nest boxes that is exactly like the one I just chucked (it has a hex on it)! Did you make that? Good job! No I didn't make this one but will the rest. My father said to me "if you get any more aviaries they are to go up the back yard". YAY!!! That's gotta mean I can get another right? Sounds good to me!

Top Picture Bea he is back left with Greeny (Mum). Kurby this isn't the nursary. This is the breeding cage less the nest box. Poka and Axel are 38 and 36 days old. They will be going on Tuesday. The others will join them through the week. Mum will stay in the box alone for another week after that to recover. She has been in the breeding cage for 133 days. Mostly taking care of chicks. It is her time to get her strength back before going back to the flight. for the rest of the year.
