True Or False

yes splat and she is sky blue shes only chick i have recived although i was told i will get three more by end of year he has 6 chicks at his place now all would be maybe 2 months now seems their was a few supper chicks she was the worst from the first clutch he got other two a cobalt cin spangle cock and a violet cin hen she was stunning second round i believe their is a cobalt spangle cin two more violets ones a cock the other im not sure and three sky blues again one definitely cock all cin i will be getting what he decides although i have requested a violet and a cobalt of what ever sex this would make the venture even share as he has so far from first clutch one violet hen one cobalt cock then if he took two skys and a violet and if i took one sky, one violet, one cobalt from second round and i have the cinn sky hen from first round but i dont think its going to pan that way i think hes waiting for chicks to molt out like last time and i will get the lesser chicks again but hey that lesser chick is my best chick so... i cant really complain even if i end up with the three sky cinns from second round its better than nothing, (which my still be a possibility ) and im not about to wreak a friendship over a few birds after all shes beautiful and will be biggest asset to my stud when shes older

can you explain the water bottle to me? what is it meant to do well the water bottle actually stops cross contamination of poo in the drinkers they say it stops most spreading germs i dont see that being true though as they need to use tongue to get water out but i have improvized mine as of about ten minits after this shot lol i actually got a ginni pig drinker and i heated the lid on the bottle pushed the ball bearringnib into the lid and then heated it sealed now i can clean the water drinker daily by just cleaning the ball bearring nib the birds can get the water better also with the nib rather than just a small nail hole it works as the gravity holds the water in untill the birds tap it with the beak in which the water drips out no more parrot soup i have a old mason jar feeder that broke and i have screwedthat to a bit of wood and atatched a bottle for the drips to fall into so birds cant get dirty water and defeat the whole purpose the bottle unscrews but as im lazy i devised a way for the water to drain out and down a tube when it gets to a certain level it drains straight out of the aviry no water on floor no risk of mold or meldue forming on floor and no parrot soup drinkers also in summer i can freeze and birds can enjoy cool water all day long

i handle all my chicks dayly from young so this helps i love to interact with them i hate flighty birds that you get from some places that almost hurt themselves if you even look at them but i do have to be careful dont want show birds kissing the judge these will all be young stock birds though so i like them tame makes cheaking them easy as they come to you and here are some shots i got after all that grey spangle cock maybe a cull yet his sister also possible cull more to come

Working Holiday In South Australia
you wouldn't b the first to put birds straight up most breeders quarantine their birds this way theirs good and bad to that but thats a whole different topic most birds breed perfect when settled and in full condition no stresses around letting them fly is most prob all they need
-
Working Holiday In South Australia
dean your birds may not be breeding to their norm because all the changes i always let birds fly for a while before pairing up even if just a week this is not in my flight but in a large cage i have for new birds they may not be **** just maybe he had worked them already some will tell you they haven't used them yet and then when you get them home they have been plucked and feathers regrown so you can tell they tried had no luck and culled wrong but often seen

Working Holiday In South Australia
well im also blessed with encouragement from my club and other breeders supporting me from outside even from over in other country's other states i must admit when i joined things wernt so good and i got ripped off with all my birds i brought first bar some from mr rowe and his brothers i got gifted birds from a few top breeders i was so exited untill they slowly died one by one taking my only few good brought birds with them i took part in a share breed that was meant to help me achieve some good broad chicks with size out come is one chick received and three im suppose to be getting but we will see mind you ive been told that they are all fm chicks and im not going to be getting any of the better chicks im positive of that now although i really did have faith at first but its a lesson i have learn t the up side to this has been honest breeders higher up have seen my persistence and determination and have stood in to help where i was left basically very discouraged by everything i spent over 2,500 in vet cost and almost 4,000 on a aviary that if i had of brought for the price its cost me would be quiet some size yet i kept my feet planted with the direction i chose to take and i have been patient in what birds i buy and receive and only obtain stock through a small number of people this has resulted in my chicks being of a sound quality yet left me in a position where i need to pay for my next advancement in progression with my stock and it wont be just b-u-m change either im still trying to come to terms with the realism of Pershing my dream or acquiring more sensible needs with in my house whole and i juggle this all the time so i devised a plan to along with the children s needs put aside up to 20.00 each fortnight so when my stud has gotten to the point i need to bring in that supper stud bird or two then i will have the money their i am right now pulling money from places to try and acquire one good bird that will really really be an asset to my stock but for more that one reason and in my eyes qualify s for the fact of how much i may need to fork out but its got more than 6 quantrabutes as to why its a value to my breeding plan but in the end it is left to fate to decide breeding show birds is more than a hobby its a passion and at times can be worse than being a gambler as the money some people pay out only to find the birds are duds is sometimes so astonishing i believe auctions do need to have a guarantee of birds health after a certain amount is crossed after all if your receiving something in the thousands for a bird if that bird drops dead with in a month or does not work , if the buyer can get at least knowing of either a replacement bird or half moneys back maybe the quality of birds would rise again the issue with this is the other side of the stick then and its the buyers whom will just start to rip of the breeders as their will be no fair way to prove weather the birds brought honestly did die or not work or had other real issues leaving it really up to how you want to prezent yourself as a fellow breeder i for one am with nubbly 5 if it is unwell doesnt work or just plain beyond breeding either cull or retire it the only thing i can see is maybe a re-homing program for show birds whom need to live out their old lives loved after all they deserve to for-fill their life after for-filling our goal as a bench winner or prim stud bird

Dying Budgies!
im sorry but im not sorry for my words i tried to give advice you have ignored my questions and im so sick of people who own birds and do not have money for vets yes its very expensive but hay and giving a dose of medication for how many days you think is suited will not help you could od them if i was you if your asking advice of a breeder then go and ask it and stick to it don't come and ask for our opinions then say were cruel and nasty in my view the people whom own birds yet know nothing about them and have no money to back them up if all goes pear their the cruel ones i dont care if your 50 or 15 i would feel the same sediment towards this kind of situation your not happy im not happy either it goes on to often you are not saving your birds by saving for a aviry spend that money or you wont need one and i was not joining in on some sort of game my opinion is mine i feel it and right now very strongly so harsh or not hear it you need to take those birds to a vet soon as possible your just playing with their lives guessing

Rabbits
my rabbit max is a dwaf lop ear rabbit he is not that small but hes like a dog he infact just runs around the yard like a dog comes like a dog and lays down with the dog he also trys to ,....the dog thats his down fall aprat from that best 50.00 i spent on a rabbit i only ever had the half breeds rip was talking about but never ever any bunny as lay back as max all fully tamed and free range but max excels where best bunny is concerned i was after a Flemish giant they are by far the best pet ever but i couldn't get hold of one by Easter so... but glad max came along get a young one 6 weeks 4 if possible also get immunized against kalessi virus (i cant spell it sorry ) get male females are temperamental when in season, not unlike the human race and can sometimes bite
