Respiratory Infections
im trying to find out how to find out if your birds have this mycoplasma and exactly what is it is it climidia ,parasisiossis or is it totally different is is caused by high humidity or by bad seed ?? if a young chick in nest 5 weeks got this what would most likely be cause ?? any help would be appreciated as it seems maybe i have after a long time found out what killed my birds last year and im scarred i may have it back nothings died or dead or even looks sick but i sold a chick recently whom has ended up not well when i spoke to the person i sold him too i knew he was not right by what was described ,..so she took him to vet (avian) its not decided what he has but white blood cells were high and was bacteria found but what im unsure i haven't spoken properly to new owner vet said he should come through fine but mycoplasma was mentioned as possible problem if this is so then its possible my flock holds the illness and i want to know hows the best way to treat or if its not that simple cheers ps i did offer to pay vet costs but offer was declined i truly do hope he pulls through he was such a lovely boy his clutch buddy's seem perfect as does his Peronts so i really am stumped but know he has to of been unwell from start as hes so little (as in young) hes only been gone a short time im just glad i like to stay in contact for a month or two see how things are going as if we didn't discuss things and how their going things could of been different as i said none of my birds or young showing sighns of any illness no breathing issues nothing but my violet did have sighns of mycoplasma parilis and the crackling breathing but i thought that was due to me feeding her im not so sure now

Clearbody Pairing's
Thankyou Sunnie! I forgot to mention, all of these birds are the same birds. So I only have one lutino hen, one grey cock etc. So there are quite a few double ups. The only birds I have that are the same colour are the opaline. light green cock birds (A and I go with gut feeling also Yes, these are only pictures, which make it alot more difficult! Thanks guys for your input, I am sure some people will be able to learn from this topic, I know I will! So far I have 4 cabinets to fill. Pair 5: Lutino X Cock A Pair 6: Sky Cock X Violet TCB Hen And not sure but I am thinking. Pair 3: Albino X TCB Grey? Pair 7 Hen with Cock B? That is what I have tried to summarise from you guys posts i was talking about the normal grey with the albino not the clearbody cock but yeah thats okay to just the albino and grey boy compliment each other

Clearbody Pairing's
id leave the grey with the albino hes not that big but hes got a nice head i would never pair the grey x grey green first picture as both sitting short and squashing head into body both of them doing it so in that picture anyway id pair the clearbody hen with cock a clearbody cock and lute to clearbody b and grey green hen to clearbody grey the violet clearbody to sky blue boy and rec pair is nice thats me but this is pictures so may be different at my own place

How To Create A Rainbow Budgie?
You most likely wont find it amongst show breeders as it is a composite bird not a bird show breeders in a club would be trying to breed. You need to find a pet breeder who dabbles in this or you need to create it yourself by buying in some breeding birds to create a rainbow in stages. It may take some time So maybe if I bought a clearwing blue hen, breed some chicks and keep a yf blue cock bird (split clearwing) and maybe buy in another clearwing hen, and just dabble around with getting the right mutations in? I don't mind if it isn't "technically" a rainbow, just because I sell to petshops and privatley, and birds like rainbows are more likely to attract the eye. if your not worryed about the tech bit then a cinnamon opaline violet yf type 1 or dom pied yf op spangle violet or sky blue are quite nice df australian golden face in same mutations and colour leaving out spangle also very nice
