  1. nasty and spike sounds like these two made for each other now when they have a daughter and son you can call them Harley and rose i know this is into the future but..... if you then bred rose (to be hatched) to uncle bob just imagine the chicks to be beautiful they would be for certain
  2. lol your a hard man dave good news on your albino and Bruticus clutch
  3. lmao so i have been reading dave im actually glad you commented thanks as i was getting a tad concerned as for kaz wanting my pieds im not sure they are within her standed although for my very first show birds and a pairing i was told was really bad im very pleased with the rezult and can not wait for them to grow heres one i missed the baby and a nice shot of platypus(spelt correct this time ) i think .
  4. hi all i have updated pics from today question is it me or are these birds taking ages to feather is their something wrong or am i impationt or do i have to worry about now ? baldy unfortinanty because of my bad managment and not being able to tell a plucked chick in nest i was to late moveing balsy in with his brothers and sisters im hopeing he will recover i only relized as he was born same day as second chick you can see the drematic diffrents oh i feel so bad my albino i have named platerpus as in dutch it translates to flat cat it seems he lies flat as posable at times i nere well thats it for todays update what you all think are the growing at normal raite or not remembering these my first ever full bred show birds im only use to pet and half pet half show which seem to feather alot faster
  5. i thought this but kept mouth shut as i figured that mabe shannon had been exited and not finnished fixing everything before takeing pics to show us

if you can do a suspended aviary i would do that
  7. yes i hope they come good also i was really looking forward to adding them birds to my flock unfortunately its best for the birds to stay put after such a fright just let me say that as my name was mentioned at start i would have been quiet happy to still take birds but splat and i talked and she decided she would rather keep them than sell an inured bird this i believe was very responsible of her giving the stress they had already been through and although saddened im still very happy with splats decision to keep the birds on as it shows her responsible ownership and best decision for whats best for her birds i praise her on that
  8. looks great mate their are a few good pairings their good luck with it all everything's looking good over their well done must make you feel good
  9. i know where your coming from also mate as it is best to breed your own birds rather to buy in all the time im not suggesting this parring was bad only that you seem to have some fantastic stock to play with from what i have seen in past pics and threads but i can see how this fits into your end outcome now
  10. yes macka i know this but to fix the mistake splat i belive knowingly made what i said works but more simply yes start again with grey birds like in albino breeding basicly i myself dont like to use cinnamon to defuse colour as you end you with cinn wing markings aventually slightly showing if look really really closely after a few gens
  11. GenericBlue replied to mag5000's topic in New to BBC
lol i think you have done this before your set up is great you have all the right equipment and your hen is just the type needed when put with most any cock bird she with produce lovley young you greywing is a fantastic even colour and length of marsk is their i really hope to see more of your birds and breeding's welcome to the sight feel free to partake in anything that may help or assist others would love your input as seems to me you know what your doing and where your heading with your flock please if im wrong ????as now im curious new or reentering your baby ,birds, set up are all fantastic
  12. lovley little white chick splat as for the suffushion i would not put a grey bird to a grey suffused chick as the colour will only be inhanced more as happened how ever i dont know the easy salution however breeding the both birds to a diluted grey then breeding the two out comes of both clutch however will solve your problem how ever wont garentee you df every time as you know in a diluted form till the third generatin when you can put the diluted chicks from the cluthch together rezulting in a end rezult wheather you get df or just spangle again remains a chance but if you think about what your doing you can get diluted df spangles through and through this will only work with your blue based ones as the yellow would not be of compertition quality doing it this way in the green serise lol **** my com dislexic like me your not the onlyone splat
  13. lol i think that my solution is pretty good we had dog wandering daily to poo one our fount step we had told the people to please keep it inside with the same it cant be our dog most people get so my son went to the magic shop and got a can off fart gas the next morning as the dog wandered on to poop he proceeded to spray the dog head to tail as it tryed to escape back under the fence the dog never was let out in the mornings again the man from then on would take it out a pone a lead on his own fount nature strip
  14. you have some great bird shannon but you always pair a reasonable cock to a strong hen WHY ??? you have so many strong cocks yet you dont use to your advantage do you have a plan at all can i ask what it is what type your breeding for exta am not being rude just can see a inconsistency and want to see you get thoughs great chicks you were getting at one point
  15. okay here is a real joke for you whats got four legs and flys ?????
  16. she is perfect kaz just right in every aspect for greywing keep it up :hooray:
  17. go big blue :hooray:
  18. glad your birds are fine mate as for cats it is law here that if one comes onto your property night or day you can take it to the pound they even hire cages to catch it reason for this is that our local law states cats must be on their own property at all times i love this law and believe it should be everywhere
  19. so you should be stoked lol i think its funny that you were worryed where she was and reality had her on a top shelf :hooray: good going mate best in future
