I've always wondered that too shannon Will our budgies eventually get that big? the best aus breeders are selective breeding and their birds are still not as big as the uk budgies. Do the uk breeders add somthing to the birds diet?

I cannot think of any mutation your bird could be except for a fallow. Are you definitely sure the eyes are red.

Hi If any of my breeding cages go rusty I sand them back and use rust-oleum (I think thats what its called). Are you not allowed to show budgies if the cage has a small amount of rust? Maybe look here http://www.kbs-coatings.com/ I've also heard you can soak the wire in vinegar for 24 hours then it will rub off, am yet to try it.

Hi Kaz since the hen is sex linked and the cock is not you will get Cocks will be split to cinnamon. Hens will not have it at all.
