Will the cage that they are in at the moment fit through the door of the aviary? if so take it in shut the door behind you and then open the cage door... I personally wouldn't walk any distance with a budgie in my hand, I'm not confident enough in holding the birds... Most important thing to remember is make sure the door is shut in the aviary before relesing the birds!

I was wondering about natural branches being used on those tiered perches. I've only ever seen dowel used. I guess it might be difficult to find branches that long of varying circumfrances...
