  4. yep. I believe so dave. there are a few members that are doing that at the moment, pairing '03 cocks with younger hens. Dunno how it would go, I would've thought by that age they would be firing blanks so to speak...

  11. Samoans call it an Umu, Maoris call it a Hungi and Tongans... I can't remember... I knew what you meant though... Each culture does a slit variation on it... Samoans warm up rocks, then put the food on the hot rocks, then cover up the rocks and food with banana leaves. Maori's actually have it under the ground. I love the food from an umu.
  12. But KAZ I know you will come along and point it out for everyone I did mean split for ino.
  13. I just wish I could afford a bird that cost $500! I agree with everything KAZ has said..
  14. Wow that is great. Keep us posted on their progress You've done a fantastic job!
  15. You can't tell by looking if the grey bird is split for ino, the only way you will be able to find that information out is by asking the person that bred the grey bird... if you don't know who bred the bird then the only real way of finding out is by breeding with him. For instance if you bred your albino to a normal grey and there were albino's you would know that your grey was split to ino... if you didn't get any you would know that the male offspring from the air would be /ino

hope you have a great time here. Make yourself at home and enjoy yourself.
  17. Just kidding about the offending me. The Samoan's don't like to admit it but Tongan food and Samoan food is VERY similar, they just give different names to the food. The first time I went to samoa I was driving down the road and I saw a sign saying "Indian Curry 10 Tala." I did a u turn and pulled up to the shop... asked for a chicken curry and paid the lady. She gave me my food and before I took it back to the car to eat I asked her if she did Korma, Vindaloo or Birriani, she just looked at me with this strange look and goes, "At the moment we only have chicken curry, but we will be trying to make beef ones next and we will see how that goes..." Before I went on that trip I was eating authentic Indian for the last 4 years at least 3 times a week... I took it home had a bite and gave it to the kids to eat... Least it wasn't wasted. I ate my girlfriends Aunties Samoan curry and that was much nicer. Next time you speak to your friend can you ask him what the name Taumei means? PM me what he says please. Happy Diving!
  18. I have never quarantined my birds because I got them from the same breeder... at the same time... but I did the 4 week quarantine that is posted in the FAQs anyways...
