First of all, Welcome!! Glad you've decided to join our little community I wouldn't get it a friend yet... maybe a little further down the track once she has picked up fully. You'll hear us go on about quarantine and thats cos most of us a re very firm believers in it helping stop the spread of disease... hope everything improves for it I'd keep it under a warm lamp (the heat helps them perk up) Do you have a picture of it?

compared to photo's I've seen of myself its a great photo.

mine is lacewing... my second favourite is spangle. Favourite colour... probably grey (after white or yellow) and my favourite modifier would probably be greywing...

I was considering going to the Shield yeah... but still unsure if I can change plans that I have previously made... we will see. Do you know what time it starts/finishes? I might be able to get there for part of it but not all... As for photo's, I figured it would be something like that (wait till the end) I will definately check prior to whipping out the camera and clicking away Your a judge arn't you Heathrow? thought the same thing after I'd put it together That would just top it off. I knew I'd have that problem because my cage fronts are 600 wide and the back was 1200 so that didn't leave a split to do it unfortunately... I've already started thinking of different ways to improve them for next time... can anyone tell me what is the most resistant wood type to mites and the like?

I'd prefer a hinged door if I could find one... I don't really want to cut the fronts if I don't have too. that was if I decide at a later date to use it as a holding cage I can...

Kind of on topic... what is the, in want to say 'ethical procedure' but that's not the word I'm looking for, for taking photo's at the shows? do you wait till the birds have been judged or can you take photo's anytime except while they are getting judged? can you take photo's with a flash or must they be without flash? and I just remembered Etiquette is the word I believe...

so do they get their first worming at 3 months are they to young to worm at that point?
