Its a pity you don't have a pair to foster some of the eggs out too... If you want to read up on some other people that have had large clutches and the like do a search for Omelette (think thats the right spelling) She is one of KAZ's birds and always hatches large clutches... might find it interesting reading.

Len passed away a couple of weeks ago, he wasn't putting on any weight and was constantly looking ill so I spoke to the vet and now he is under a yellow rose in our front yard. poor fella. Now I'm budgieless

I've noticed that too, call it a shed and its say $900, remove 3 sides, add wire, leave small galvanised section on the bottom of those 3 sides... expect to double it.

they might also be known as chinese painted quails... and you can tell the boy and girl apart very easily. If you click here you can see a picture of them... the one in the front is a male the one in the back is a female.
