You sound pretty stressed about the whole situation... before you try hand feeding them make sure you take some long deep breaths don't wanna be scaring the chicks... good luck with the youngest you are doing a great job.

Lacewing Chicks
Love them, I do. Get some, I shall. Sorry had a yoda moment. I really do wanna get some lacewings they are just amazing. I've had a good look at the different types and these jump out at me... so in a perfect world my first 2 will be lacewing or lacewing and maybe a lutino or albino... thats in a perfect world.

Would They Make A Good Couple?
I think they will make great baby budgies... not sure if you'll get yellowfaced greys, like Liv said alot would depend on the hidden genetics in both... but hey, you could come out with a plethora of colours and that would be a great thing.

I dunno the difference between opaline or normal but those two are two of the best lookng budgies I've ever seen. I can't wait to see what their chicks turn out like.

Also I was reading on another thread, wild budgies are alot smaller then show budgies and relatively smaller then typical pet budgies... so with that in mind I guess you could go out and catch a wild budgie and breed it with your smallest hen/cock, whatever your wild one wasn't... Just not sure how the wild one would be... possibly very aggressive towards the pet types... worth a shot though... only problem is I don't know how your going to catch the wild one either...
