okay so I popped into the pet shop today and took a look at the budgies in there... some of them had tags on them and some didn't. Just wondering, are all tags from the same year the same color all over Australia or is each Club different? And where do I find out who the breeder and eventually what its pedigree is from the information on the tag?

Yes went out today looking at different options. Checking out Ready-made aviaries as well as the possibility of making one from scratch. Work out cost V's time and I'll see which one comes out ontop.
