I think Budgerigars for pleasure and profit would be interesting... I wouldn't imagine that you could make much of a profit in budgerigars....

Agree with everything elly said... she didn't say wash your hands thoroughly before taming the other bird... I think she didn't say that because its so obvious... You'd hate for decease to be spread from one bird to the other, by you.

A question about quarantine... how would you quarantine these birds? do both birds get quarantined for a 30 day period before going into the breeding cage? Normally you wouldn't have to quarantine because they are both living in the same aviary right?

Thats a fantastic video... This, with some work experience at a good breeders or vets place doing it would do wonders for beginner breeders. But no matter how much you watch/read... nothing teaches you quite like hands on...

hey there, welcome to the forums. Well the others have told you to quarantine her and I couldn't agree more. better to be safe then to end up with 8 birds with dirty bums. It will give you plenty of time to find out if it is a sickness or just nerves...
