I noticed Len (my bird) does that sometimes... I'll see if I can take a picture and post it to see if its what you are talking about... He doesn't sleep like it every night just some... not sure why guess he just wants to break the mundaneness of sleeping

They are looking like they are having a ball Dave! lucky little birds! I won't show Lip or Len they might escape and fly up to your house...

okay... I wondered about fumes and stuff. I will try scraping it off with a toenail cleaner... just worried I'll hurt the poor guy. I'll let you all know how I go, in the meantime any other ideas if that doesn't work??

yep the yellow is there... look forward to seeing it develop into a lovely budgie!!

now I am confused... I see the markings on the yellow one, but can't see them on the white one... and then I look in my Budgerigars in colourbook and they show the Lacewings as having mauve cheek patches... I dunno.. I am confused... I see one thing and read another. I hope they are Lacewings though!!!

Thats great to hear! Glad he is now enjoying his seed. hopefully soon he'll start eating his vegies.. if they arn't used to vegies it takes a little while. Mine didn't eat them straight away either. But keep persisting. A good thing to get are toys that you can hide food in... you will find they really enjoy that...
