I dunno either, I will find out when I get around the breeding period of my life lol. I was looking at my Budgerigars in color book the other night but they don't have fallows in there... Libby showed me a picture of a Fallow hen and she looked very similar to Len but I dunno... I'm not really worried... he Len isn't a lacewing I will eventually get one...

well I'm not Canadian but last year I did the whole thanksgiving day with some of my US friends. It was fun so Happy Thanksgiving to you to birdluv! Anyone remember when the US have thanksgiving this year?

I haven't found a place yet that sells them... I have come across a place in amberwell but thats on the other site of town, I would have to go after work or something... If I did get them I would breed only bush budgie to bush budgie... I wouldn't want to mix the 2 types... but I am just a tad bit sinacle... I know of the group in the netherlands that are trying to breed only normal greens but they are still doing it with show or pet types... I am just wondering where these little bush budgies came from all of a sudden someone got the idea to go get them from the bush... hmmmm.. maybe... I have since been on the phone to the DSE (Department of Sustainability and Environment) and they have informed me that you cannot get a license to go and catch wild budgerigar and then breed from them... Not sure if its the same in other states but that is the Victorian DSE policy...

are bush budgies really bush budgies or are they just a marketing ploy of some to get you to buy a small pet type budgie??? I wouldn't mind the idea of having some "bush budgies" if they are infact a normal, everyday, run of the mill, fair dinkum, budgie from the bush...

wow... ummm I'm no vet/ wildlife officer but I'd be saying yes it could eat a chihuahua X Doesn't the venom help to breakdown the animal thus allowing the snake to swallow it hole??? Just something I saw on discovery or national geographic... that and a snake with a guys head and neck in his mouth... if your the guy with the head in the snakes mouth are you allowed to shoot it then??? Some laws are crazy... I understand that some snakes are endangered... but preservation of a human life has to come into it somewhere... maybe you could by a pet rat and leave the lid off... and then catch the red bellied black snake and keep it as a pet???

someone said that they thought the cere on one of my birds may of had the start of scaley face but they needed a better picture... well I have tried and triad and tried to get better pics but this is the best I could come up with... any thoughts??

hmmm gold fish nets.... night have to give that a go I think... I'm not fast enough with my hands... I could try and sneak up on them of a night while they sleep but I hate people waking me up in the middle of the night so I will respect there sleeping time and not do that...

very nice!!! I would prefer to have the nest box's on the outside too but I have been looking around for cage fronts, no one seems to sell them unless you want to cut the wire mesh...

really hands??? I find every time I put my hands in the cage they are flying around into things and I'm scared they are going to hurt themselves... I guess a net might be an option...

hmmm she looks good... what colour are your hens cheek patches? They look white... my birds are sort of brownish... I guess cinnamon? If you look closely at my avatar you can see the colouring... any thoughts? Is he fallow or Lacewing or neither? You can move this thread to mutations now if yas want moderators... lol
