You like this shared breeding don't you KAZ. I can't believe I didn't see this thread sooner. Your a lucky person Renee... very lucky to be able to breed with some of KAZ's birds... although I must say you have some nice birds yourself.

wow... what have I learnt... I can honestly say everything... when I joined BBC I was looking at the possibility of owning budgies. I wanted to learn more because I had always wanted to own some since I was young, my neighbors used to have some and I would 'help' them out when I was a kid. I certainly didn't remember anything from then but I knew they came in different shapes and sizes... I now know what those colours are. Possible breeding outcomes... what kinds of set ups I prefere... I know about quarantine... thats just a snippet of what I now know.. but the most important information I learnt came from Daz, a guy that I would say knows everything about budgies and that is this:- I will never know everything.

It doesn't look like you'll need anything for this one... I'm sure it must seem like an eternity since the mother last fed but don't worry. It sounds like the mother has everything under control...

kaz had a great twin pair. They were very cute... from memory one was male one was female. the male lived longer than the female... but they were both very cute. Correct me if I'm wrong at anytime Kaz...

Yeah Norm been a fair bit busy lately... But hopefully I'll be back on a bit more. I like having a bit of fungus on my face every now and then... It usually only stays until my wife threatens to make me sleep on the couch. lol.

The feathered friends are doing very well thank you. In perfect breeding condition... just waiting for a breeding box... which I'm not going to give them just yet... I'm not ready for babies just yet. And the pie... you should join its very addictive. Its the second best site on the net... (this being the best)

Hopefully soon. I've pointed a few people this way when they've asked about information. I found out a couple of weeks ago that a guy I've know all my life breeds budgies and has shown and won prizes in Canberra. Thought that was crazy. I told him about this site, dunno if he's joined up yet. I posted a link to here in a facebook group telling everyone it was the greatest site to find out info. So hopefully we'll get 1500 very soon!
