Good idea getting one with a safety door... As for other things you can put in it like toys and stuff... thats pretty much up to you... Are you good at making things?? If so there are some pretty cool perches and stuff here on the forum so do a search and you might get some idea's... Good luck with it all and I look forward to seeing your aviary when its done..

thats what I was thinking about... do you know how big the aviary is going to be?? I'd try to raise it up slightly so that you wouldn't cause the decking to be damaged... It doesn't have to be to high... just high enough to allow access to clean underneith... It would be easier to clean under if it had wheels, but if you were worried about it staying still wheels wouldn't be a must...

will you be able to tell which ones are spangles and which ones are normals by the time you ring them? If not I really don't mind you putting your rings on, I won't be showing for a while, if ever, yet. Its up to you. You're the senior breeder here
