BBC Is The Best
I'm very impressed ! Way to go BBC ! It took some great people & dedicated lovers of these amazing birds to come up with such an informative site for people to come & learn or just have a smile if that's whats on their bird brain minds. I tip my hat to you all. Thanks for sharing. Now ... wheres the cake ? If we're number 1. Does this mean a party & cake ? Or will we all receive some money for this Recognition Award ?

Favourite Toy?
I love that your Squee loves the beads on the chain or just the plain bead. My hen is a duplicate to Squee & its amazing to watch her play with beads & things. She really has so much fun ! & yes ... I think Carrot counts as a good toy too. I put a huge chunk of carrot in their tray & watch Saucy Face's face & feathers under her mouth turn all orange while she shreds the carrot & plays in the grinds of it. She loves to do that.

For Nick Nack
AWWWWWWWWW ? You mean they've pinsched off his pinscher ? He can make no more pups ? I can see he would have bred some fine pups. He really is a great looking dog. He looks so much nicer without his little dress. More MANLY ... yes. A MANLY DOG. (without his pinschers) "SIGH"

Favourite Toy?
NO NO NO NEAT ! They love to destroy them balls. Something tells them KILL KILL DESTROY ... must beat the balls & pull em outta their little sockets. That's the fun of it. Every once & a while I will hear "CLUNK. I look over & there the birds sit staring down at the dead ball & or balls laying on the bottom of the cage. They're look seems to be .... " HMMM ... whatayathinkabout that eh ? DEAD ! I killed another one ! LOOKIT lying there ... Ya think dumbo over there will come & pick it up from the floor of the cage & fix it ? Like the other 1000 times before ? " Let's sit here & stare at it some more & look forlorn & lost & sad, maybe he will come & fix it for us. Heh heh ... here he comes now. LOSER ! It gets him every time ! "

Millet Clip
If you want to attach your cuttlebone to a cage wall. Take a smallish sharp spike or screw driver & put 2 holes in the cuttlebone side by side, 1 & 1/2 inch apart. Be careful doing this .. cuttlebones are brittle on one side. I suggest going thru the harder side first, it helps the bone not break. Then get a piece of solid twine or a plastic zip clips - (buy them at the dollar store) & slip it thru the holes ... place it in the cage where your birds & see it & have perch access to it & then firmly attach it with the string or zip ties on the outside of the bars. Works really well ! zip clips $1.00 for pack of 20 These are really strong & the birds can't chew through them. The Police use these as handcuffs in Toronto now. What ever happened to them old metal clunky hurt your wrist handcuffs ? Ah ... my miss spent youth ... days of being .. oh scuse me. Had a mental flash back there. Grade school was a hard time for me.

Hobbes& Claire's Taming Journal
Nice work Birdluv ... you've done really well. I wish you'd gotten that picture of Hobbs falling asleep while you talked to him too, it would have been really sweet. I am impressed at how pretty your little Claire is. I like her colors & look, she still has that baby look to her.

Molting Or Moulting Depends Where You Live
It's hard to imagine what an Aviary molt would look like. I know I think I vacuum way too many feathers with just 2 birds. I swear my girlfriend can make pillows with all the feathers they shed.

Photos Of My Flock
I love your birds Julie ... poofy hairstyles & all ... & yes I agree ProMarkus it does make them look angry or nasty. I think they are planning a take over or something ... keep an eye out for these birds. I SMELL TROUBLE !

For Nick Nack
Now that Spring has sprung ... yer little boy dog can be a little BOY dog & not have to wear that ridiculous dress anymore. Who ever heard of a cross-dressing Dog ! Cabela looks like he is loving the sunshine & some greenery to lay on. For a mini pinscher he has a nice size to him Elly. He has good form in muscle & tone. I've always liked the light brown color of these dogs. More then the traditional black & browns. Cutie !!!! Thanks for the picture. Norm Posted Today, 18:36 Not only does he want all the cake & donuts, but now he wants your dog…or at least a picture of it…at least he seems to have calmed down some…you would think that with all the cake etc he would get more hyper active… I told ya Norm ... no more cake ! I do no donuts ... I am a healthy fake no name mac & cheese eater only !

I Clipped George's And Franklin's Wings
Gee's Melbournebudgies .... I've got to admit ... I've never brushed below my waste or my leg hair before. So I can't say I ever whacked my ankles ! I guess you are saying your not a good candidate for the HAIRCLUB FOR MEN ? Can you say Sasquatch ? Or Big Foot ?

Favourite Toy?
Not a problem there 'thk' ! I was surprised at your story about the little pile of things in a container for your bird to toss & you to retrieve. I have that here also. I have some dismantled balls from the broken hanging balls, some nice small polished rocks, a couple of plastic thread spools (without thread) some large cool marbles or crystal boulders that roll around the tray I have them in, & more little odds & ends. I like watching the hen ... she pushes a purple bluey rock around & around the tray in circles. Sometimes I think she wants to sit on it. It looks like she is pushing it under her. Maybe she is pretending this semi flat cool rock is an odd shaped egg ? The entire time she plays the Weebil watches her & does nothing. THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO DIFFERENT these 2 Birds !

Newspaper?
I don't like using newspaper in the cage. It's either colored or just black & white. I use scrap paper from the printer. And I have a supply I can get from a recycler for free. (it has mistakes on it, but only on one side) A blank sheet of paper can tell you the color & looseness of poops & who needs a trip to the avians if it doesn't improve over a couple of days. Newspaper is hard to tell this from. And ... theres no mess on your hands when you clean it up !

New Baby

2008 Budgie Pics

Amira And George... Arranged Marriage/ Joint Custody
You sure have a way about BOIDS Kaz ... it will all work out fine ! Darn George ... too good looking to know the basics of baby care. He's useless around kids he mentioned in a interview on a news rag the other day. He said Brad & Angelina can raise allll the kids they want ... he doesn't want anything to do with it. Kids make him nervous. It seems that Almira is still in the party mood too. She likes to boogie but not take care of the results. Not into being a mother yet. Maybe next season. She's the PARIS HILTON of your Budgie girls these days, Kaz.

I Clipped George's And Franklin's Wings
OH THE GUILT ! LMAO .... they do make us feel so bad don't they ? Don't fret they will get over it soon. The fun part will come now. They will hang onto their perch with a death defying grip with their little budgie feeties & nails & flap flap flap in a super helicopter motion & try to lift the entire cage off the furniture or stand its sitting on. That always makes me laugh ... HOUSTON WE HAVE LIFT OFF ! NOT ! I notice they preen more when these feathers are gone. And they seem almost shocked that they have less to work on. It's like they are thinking, " Hey, where did them long flightys go ? Ya know what ? This is a little more easy to work with ! BABY LIKES, Yes Baby Likes .... YES I DOOOO ! "

Favourite Toy?
Cheapest toy EVER ! I buy many of these as my hen loves to destroy them ! SHE LOVES to rip the little bell balls out of these things ... maybe she hates it ? Strangely ... the Weebil (WHO NEVER PLAYS WITH ANYTHING) has started to find some interest in this toy. I am happy when they play & are destructive to their toys and not the walls or my furniture in the apartment.
